Albedo.
An unusual Galvan by every standard, he stood out among his own species with his pale skin and striking crimson eyes. Yet despite — or perhaps because of — his peculiar traits, nothing stopped him from rising far above his peers.
A recognized genius even among his own species, raised on Galvan Prime and always striving higher. From an early age, his intellect stood out—so much so that the greatest mind of their kind, Azmuth himself, noticed him and eventually took him on as an assistant in the creation of his ultimate invention: the Omnitrix.
During the process, Albedo impressed his mentor again and again with solutions and ideas that even Azmuth—though he would never admit it aloud—had not considered.
When the first prototype was finally completed, it was to be sent to its intended bearer: Magister Maxwell Tennyson, a great Plumber whose achievements had earned Azmuth's respect to such a degree that he believed no one in the universe could be more suited to wield his creation.
His creation.
HIS creation!
Albedo harbored a deep resentment toward the Great Thinker—one that slowly fermented into anger.
He had been there, beside him. He had helped design the greatest and possibly most powerful technological artifact in the entire universe. He thought it, he believed it, he knew he deserved recognition for the significant role he had played in its creation.
And yet Azmuth considered the Omnitrix to be his, and only his invention.
He was vehemently opposed to a human, of all species, becoming the wielder of their creation. To him, humans were primitive creatures from a primitive backwater sector—beings who would have barely crawled beyond their own planet if not for the Plumbers establishing a presence there.
When he finally voiced his concerns — his objections, his frustration, his disbelief — about his mentor's decision, Azimuth dismissed him with a single, effortless wave of his hand. The Great Thinker didn't argue, didn't explain, didn't even acknowledge the depth of Albedo's resentment.
He simply declared, in that calm, immovable way of his, that he knew better than anyone alive whom to trust with his creation.
HIS CREATION !
Albedo had no intention of accepting this. Not now. Not ever.
So, in absolute secrecy, far from his mentor's eyes, he began his own project — his Omnitrix.
He knew every component, every sequence, every microscopic lattice of the original design. He knew what Azimuth planned to implement in future iterations. And he knew which of his own ideas had been dismissed, rejected, or outright forbidden.
And he intended to implement all of them.
This device wouldn't be a copy. It wouldn't even be an improvement.
It would be proof — undeniable, irrefutable proof — that he, Albedo, was every bit the genius Azimuth refused to acknowledge by dismissing him so lightly.
And so the work began. It lasted five years. For Galvans, this was barely a blink — their lifespans stretch over millions of years.
But for the albino Galvan, those years felt long… agonizingly long, an eternity in miniature.
And finally — he had it.
His own Omnitrix, perfected down to every detail. Every function. Every capability. Fully integrated into his creation.
All those years he had been focused not only on his own invention but also on assisting Azmuth in refining and completing the first Omnitrix. Needless to say, he absorbed every detail voraciously, memorizing and analyzing everything to figure out how to improve what had already been created.
But there was only one thing missing — the DNA of every alien species stored in the original artifact's database. Azmuth and Albedo had spent countless years and immense effort collecting over 1,000,912 DNA samples from various species. Some had long since gone extinct, while others were so rare and powerful that obtaining another fragment and placing it in a DNA database a second time was impossible.
And there were two fastest, most effective ways to load all the remaining species into his Omnitrix.
The first method was to connect the DNA database directly to Primus — the giant organic-machine planet, created by Albedo and Azmuth, wasn't just for storing DNA — it was designed to harvest and process new specimens.
Primus was connected and could communicate directly with the Omnitrix, providing it with an ever-expanding library of species. If Primus were destroyed in any way, the DNA samples stored there would be lost forever. Any device connected to it would no longer receive new DNA.
If that happened, the only thing carrying all previously stored samples would be the Omnitrix itself.
The second method was safer, more discreet: synchronizing Albedo's Omnitrix with the current prototype, an operation that, in theory, would merge the genetic templates.
This would result in all the samples stored in the original Omnitrix being "duplicated" into the DNA database of Albedo's Omnitrix.
Weighing all the pros and cons, Albedo decided to go with the second option. The first was undeniably the fastest and most efficient, and he felt he had every right to use Primus as he wished — after all, he had helped create it, just as he had with the Omnitrix.
But common sense always outweighed his feelings. He knew that the moment Azmuth discovered another Omnitrix connected to Primus, he would immediately raise the alarm. The first person the Great Thinker suspected would be Albedo — and he would probably demand the copy be destroyed or handed over.
Azmuth despised anything he considered purely his own being copied by someone else, let alone successfully recreated. Besides, the supreme intellect of Galvan Prime was always paranoid and trusted no one completely.
Albedo successfully achieved his goal, but during the process, due to unforeseen circumstances, the Omnitrix altered the Galvan's DNA, completely changing its structure and giving him a new appearance.
Standing in his laboratory on Galvan Prime, Albedo assumed his new form — a lean human boy with an athletic build and pale skin. His white hair was tousled, falling casually over his forehead, and his ruby red eyes sparkled with confusion. He wore a white T-shirt, fitted but not tight, layered under a dark-red black striped jacket emblazoned with a bold "10" on the left side. His pants were simple dark jeans, and on his feet, he sported black-and-white canvas sneakers.
On his right wrist was a compact device that looked like a wristwatch, with a thick black, white, and red band, a glowing red hourglass symbol in the center, and a sleek black core.
Albedo was in the form of Ben Tennyson. The primate who had spent all this time strutting around with his creation, using it irresponsibly and outside its intended purpose.
The first thing he did, with a power that quite literally fell into his lap, was to burn the flora of his planet. And that was only the beginning of his foolishness…
And now, because Azmuth had linked Ben Tennyson's DNA to the recalibrated Omnitrix, making it the default DNA, Albedo was apparently stuck in this human form.
The first thing he felt when he changed were new sensations he had never experienced in his long life as a Galvan — they hit him all at once, overwhelming him to the point that he… cried.
For the first time in his life, Albedo didn't know what was happening around him or inside him. He couldn't control the burning emotions and feelings that flooded his mind. It took some time before the albino Galvan could even slightly regain control over himself and start listening to his own thoughts.
The first thought that crossed Albedo's mind was to find a way back to his original body by any means necessary, to rid himself of this human form no matter the cost. He studied everything he could, spending days and weeks and months locked away in his laboratory, and gradually — unexpectedly even to himself — he began to slowly adapt to his new appearance, his new state, his new mind and emotions.
Although he would have to learn to better control his new… urges.
It reached the point where Albedo actually started… enjoying being in this alien-to-him form, and he eventually came to the realization that he no longer even considered it alien. This led to the feeling that he no longer belonged among his own kind on his home planet. He still thought of himself primarily as a Galvan, but he felt he no longer had a place there.
So Albedo made a decision: he would leave this sector and visit the home planet of the current Omnitrix wearer — Terra, in the solar system. Who knows… maybe there he could learn to understand humans and himself better.
But before that, he wanted a little revenge on Azmuth for his inability to acknowledge the contributions of others, and before leaving the planet's atmosphere, he stole his latest invention — the Ultimatrix. An unfinished version, abandoned by Azmuth because of the unethical nature of controlled species evolution.
If his mentor didn't want progress and had abandoned his creation halfway to completion, then he didn't need it, right?
Albedo raised his omnitrix to eye level and was tapping randomly on the holographic display, which glowed red from the core of the device. After the final tap, the display was replaced by a projection resembling a map — but instead of terrain, it showed planets, stars, and sectors. It was a map of the cosmos, and Albedo was currently studying the route to the Sol system and the planet Terra.
After finishing his study and committing the path to memory — thanks to his perfect photographic memory — he deactivated the map. Stepping out of the laboratory through the main exit with his bearings, he lifted his head skyward. In that same moment, his silhouette was engulfed in bright red light, and his form began to shift.
The transformation took less than a second. Where his human body had stood, now stood a sleek, red-and-yellow humanoid Aerophibian, with burning ruby eyes.
Once the transformation was complete, Albedo shot into the air and left the planet's orbit at incredible speed. Flying through the endless black expanse dotted with tiny white points, he accelerated sharply, and his figure vanished into the void, reaching speeds surpassing the speed of light as he entered hyperspace.

Hi guys, I'm writing this for those who read my other story "With Great Power" and are still waiting for the continuation. It will come, but I haven't had the opportunity to write new chapters because I got into an accident…
I'll be writing this fanfic just to keep myself occupied with something in hospital, while at the same time thinking about the continuation of my main fanfic.
Bye-bye.
