Kaelrin sighed deeply at her status window, seeing her doom written right in front of her.
[Warning: Not recommended for people with strength under 15]
'How am I possibly going to be able to use this stupid sword if my strength is too low!" she silently screamed.
She kicked her sword in frustration and immediately regretted it when her sword barely moved and instead pain shot up her foot and into her ankle.
She let out a slight yelp in pain and anger and held her foot in one hand while hopping on the other. She didn't care about the looks she got from others this time; the pain in her foot was way more important.
'That was a stupid idea.' Kaelrin thought. She then decided that since this was her only weapon choice at the moment, she might as well attempt to use it.
Going to pick up her sword, she thought that as long as she could lift it, everything wouldn't be so bad, but her optimism plummeted below the ground when she found out that she couldn't even lift it.
'This is bad,' she thought. 'Not only did I choose the worst weapon ever, but I can't even use it either.'
She fell into a state of miser as she knew that there was no way she would be able to live very long at this rate. But she knew that she had to at least try to live, so with renewed vigor, she put all her strength into her lift and pulled.
And it lifted. Kaelrin silently squealed in delight as she barely lifted the hilt off the ground, just to have to put it back down again. But that was alright. For her, this progress was enough.
Suddenly a message appeared before her.
[You lifted an object heavy in weight]
[Obtained 0.1 Strength]
Kaelrin was surprised. 'That counted towards my stats?' She felt around for any change in her body and felt that her muscles had become slightly firmer.
'Wouldn't I become ridiculously overpowered if that was all it took to gain strength?' The thought made her relax a little. 'If I were to become strong just by lifting my weapon over and over again, I wouldn't have to have any worries about dying.'
Kaelrin shivered with excitement and spent the test of the time Hazel was gone lifting her sword best she could.
By the time Hazel had returned, Kaelrin was able to drag her sword around a little bit before putting it down. She quickly glanced at her window while Hazel was waiting for the crowd to settle down.

It seemed as though strength was not as easy to get as Kaelrin had hoped, but it was expected. After all, if it really was that easy to get stronger, than Hazel wouldn't have said that more than half of the people in her group would end up dead. She did like that she had also gotten some stamina points for it as well, though it wasn't nearly as much as she wanted.
"Alright," Hazel said in order to quiet everyone still chatting. "I hope you used this time to get to ally with some people and figure out a plan, because the tower knows you'll need it."
With Hazel's words haunting Kaelrin once more, Hazel snapped its blob and one of the walls of the white room disappeared, leaving a forest view behind.
"Good luck, everybody," Hazel said. For the first time, they were completely serious. Then with a wave of their blob, Hazel pushed a mysterious force against everyone, forcing them to leave the white room.
'Wait, wait, wait,' Kaelrin thought. She wasn't ready to face whatever would be outside this white room. The moment she was outside the room, the sun beat down on her causing her to have to adjust to the light. When she could finally see again, she saw that the room she was in was gone.
And she had no idea what to do next. Others were just as confused. However, slowly, everyone began to group up and leave off in separate directions until Kaelrin was the only person standing in the patch of grass that had no trees.
Kaelrin decided that since she was already going to die considering she didn't have a partner, she night as well enjoy the scenery.
She sat down and looked at the forest surrounding her. It was beautiful. Each leaf of the forest was a rich green, and the light poking through the branches looked like little spotlights that highlighted the ground below.
If she wasn't all by herself, she might've let her guard down completely and just enjoyed the outdoors, but because she didn't have a partner, she needed to remain vigilant. She couldn't just lay there and let herself be trampled. That was too cowardly.
So, Kaelrin decided to get up and walk around, occasionally having to stop to put her sword down. She went around like that for a couple hours until she got four new notifications.
[You have obtained 11 total strength]
[You are the first person to gain 1 total point in any stat]
[You have obtained the skill Amplification]
[Amplification: Your strength can be temporarily boosted]
Kaelrin also saw that she had gotten a mastery point for her weapon.
She was shocked. 'Was it really this easy to get stronger in the tower? I feel like I could take on anything.' She smirked thinking she was the strongest person in this forest when suddenly-
BOOM
P.S. Thanks for Reading! I'll try to update 1 or two times tomorrow as well. ;)
