Chapter 16 - 16

opes door

"JESUS CHRIST!" exclaimed Celea while putting her hand on her heart.

"Is this some kind of weird hobby of yours?"

Claus was sitting on the edge of the bed toward the door with his elbows on his knees, watching her silently like the silence before the storm. His red shining eyes in the dark room, his black hair wet like he just got out of the shower. He looked like a beast.

"Just what the hell do you think you're doing, acting all cool and mighty? Can't you act like a normal person for once?"

"Celea…" Claus called her name in a calm tone, which was not something he would do. He is angry. He is very serious this time.

"Yes…?"

"Come here."

"No, I don't want to." Celea had her guard up, seeing him this calm all of a sudden.

"Celea, don't make me ask twice," he said, his calm tone unchanged.

Celea didn't want to make a scene and wake everyone else, so she did as she was told and stood in front of him. Claus was still sitting. At that point, he caught her by the waist and forcibly pulled her closer. Celea now had one knee on the bed, her hands resting on his shoulders.

"What's wrong?" asked Celea in an innocent voice.

Claus pulled her by the arm, placed his other hand behind her head, gripping a fistful of her hair, and kissed her roughly. This took her by surprise since he would usually talk before taking action.

"HMM!" Celea opened her eyes wide in shock at his very unfriendly kiss. Claus slowly turned them around, laying her on the bed with him on top of her. Soon after, he pulled his lips from hers to let her breathe and started kissing her cheeks, eyes, and neck.

"What… what's… wrong… are you mad that I left without… telling you?" Celea tried to form a sentence while struggling to catch her breath.

Claus lifted his head from her neck and looked at her face, but instead of answering, he kissed her again fiercely, eventually proceeding to open her shirt. Celea placed her hands over his to stop him from unbuttoning, but Claus took her hands and pinned them above her head with one hand while the other continued, his lips never leaving hers.

Claus took the rope holding one of the curtains around the bed and after a moment stopped the kiss, positioned his legs on either side of her waist so she couldn't attack him, and tied her hands to the bed. Celea was a breathing mess.

"What are you doing…?" Celea barely managed to say it. Her head was dizzy, everything spinning.

Claus didn't answer and started kissing her again while touching her bare stomach. Moments later, he moved to her neck and realized she had stopped protesting. He looked up.

Sigh.

"You fainted…"

"Ugh… heavy."

Celea woke up with a heavy king sleeping on top of her. She tried moving her arms but couldn't.

"What…?"

"What the hell?" Her hands were tied to the bed.

"Damn you, lycan." She burned the rope with her power.

"Ugh…" Celea's wrists had red marks on them.

She looked at the lycan on top of her, shirtless and hugging her. Her shirt was still open, and the only thing covering her dignity was her bra. Sigh.

"Hey, lycan, you're heavy. Get off me, I can't breathe." She tried pushing him away. Afterward, she got an idea.

"Claus!" she exclaimed.

The lycan lifted his head and looked at her.

"You finally called me by my name," he said with a grin and a morning voice.

"I knew it—you were awake. Now get off me."

"I don't wanna." He rested his head back on her chest.

"What the—DAMN YOU, LYCAN, GET THE FUCK OFF ME!" Celea tried to push him away but failed.

"I don't wanna."

Sigh. I give up.

Celea placed her palm over her face.

"Claus…"

"Yes, Celea."

"What was last night all about?"

"I could ask you the same thing. Why were you all alone with that dragon last night?" He tightened his grip on her.

"You were laughing before coming in. He called you by your name, and you had his scent on you, so I know you weren't just talking."

Claus stared into her eyes, frowning, demanding an answer.

"Your jealousy is quite annoying…"

"Celea, you better answer me, or this time I won't stop even if you faint."

"You are quite disgusting, you know that?"

"Celea, answer me."

Sigh.

"It's true—we didn't just talk last night."

Claus jumped into a sitting position, pulling Celea with him.

"What the—?" Celea reacted to the sudden movement.

Claus was angry again, gripping her waist tightly.

"What did you two do last night, Celea?"

"Calm down. It was just a hug."

"JUST A HUG?! WHY WOULD YOU TWO HUG?! WHAT KIND OF RELATIONSHIP DO YOU HAVE?!"

"Where do you even get the energy to scream first thing in the morning?"

"We are family. Can't I hug my family?"

"Family? How so? Are you a dragon?"

"Honestly, I have no idea what I am."

"But he is my uncle."

"So he's your uncle?"

"Yes."
