Chapter 2 - Chapter 2 Although they had transmigratedtransmigrated too early, to

, it seemed they had night. In a dense forest, several people were encamped in a simple tent by a campfire.

Four people sat around the fire, all dressed in high-necked robes, their pale, gloomy faces appearing quite frightening in the firelight.

Most of them bore injuries. After a long silence, one of them, a black-haired man with a ponytail, spoke up.

"If it weren't for this brat, we would have finished long ago. I'll go teach him a lesson now!"

He then rose and walked towards the tent, his hand on the long sword hanging at his waist, as if he were about to kill someone on the spot.

"Alright, this matter needs the clan leader's decision. It's a time of chaos; more people mean a better chance of completing the mission,"

the older man in the middle said, trying to stop them.

Although he didn't have much interaction with the people in the tent, their status left him with no choice. After all, the clan leader had ordered him to take care of this guy, and even if he was useless, he had to try to look after him.

Hearing the older man's words, the ponytail-wearing man was furious, but he couldn't disobey his captain's orders.

Meanwhile, the man in the tent was slowly waking up.

"Where the hell am I? I remember I was drunk and walking along the riverbank, feeling the wind, and then I think I slipped."

Feeling a sharp pain in his head and a back that felt like it had been hit by a car, the man struggled to open his eyes. There was no familiar ceiling.

In the pitch-black space, he could vaguely see the burlap tent roof. He tried to raise his hand, but found himself paralyzed, as if he were being paralyzed by a ghost. With a throbbing pain in his head, the man passed out again.

After a while, the man was awakened by arguing outside the tent. He felt as if he had regained strength in his limbs and managed to sit up.

Looking at his unfamiliar hands and clothes, and a samurai sword beside him, he recalled the memories he had just received and remained silent for a few seconds.

"Damn it, I really can time travel? And it's Naruto. Luckily, I remember most of the plot, like Naruto and the gay thing, but isn't this time period a bit off?"

That's right, the man was a recent graduate, a typical office worker who slacked off at work, but during a team-building event, he drank a few too many drinks.

Afterwards, he wandered alone to the riverbank. Under the influence of alcohol, he lost his sense of direction, stumbled, and fell into the water, dying instantly. When he opened his eyes again, he found himself in the body of this unfortunate fellow.

  "Uchiha Gin, is that Uchiha?"

According to his memories, the Warring States period was still long before the founding of Konoha. Currently, it was a time of chaos, and the Uchiha clan had just signed a friendly pact with the Hagoromo clan to jointly fight against the Senju clan.

Their mission, "Operation Exterminate the Seedlings," was launched to weaken the Senju clan's new generation. They worked in groups, specifically targeting and killing young Senju members, thus causing a generational gap in the Senju clan's core strength.

The original owner's name was Uchiha Gin, and both his parents died in the war.

Because his mother was the older sister of the current clan leader, Uchiha Tajima, he was adopted by Uchiha Tajima as an orphan.

However, among the exceptionally talented Uchiha clan, Uchiha Gin appeared quite mediocre, even somewhat of a waste.

Already in his twenties, he was defeated in a match against a ten-year-old clansman, ultimately suffering a crushing defeat.

Recalling being utterly humiliated by a child, Uchiha Gin's expression turned strange.

"That was young Madara! If I could beat him, I could brag about it for the rest of my life."

After roughly reviewing the original owner's memories, Uchiha Gin, now inheriting his name, began to analyze the current situation.

This was the Warring States period, a time of utter chaos and danger. Swords were merciless, ninjutsu meaningless; one wrong move and you could be dead.

As an ordinary person who had just transmigrated, Uchiha Gin felt that surviving was the most important thing, as living to thirty was already a luxury in this era.

Based on the original owner's memories, Uchiha Gin tried circulating his chakra, finding it flowing as slowly as a snail, sometimes even disappearing entirely. He then tried silently chanting in his mind...

  "System, activate!!!"

After a long silence, Uchiha Gin opened his eyes and sighed.

"A useless talent, and no system either, what a disastrous start."

After a moment's thought, Uchiha Gin decided to cling to the original owner's coattails. Uchiha Tajima, as the current head of the Uchiha clan, was quite powerful.

As his distant nephew, as long as he didn't take any risks, he should be able to live a few peaceful days until the founding of Konoha.

With that thought, Uchiha Gin sat up and walked out of the tent.

The three people who were dozing by the campfire opened their eyes at the sound of movement. The eldest man saw Uchiha Gin emerge from the tent, his eyes narrowing, and he said coldly,

  "Come here."

Seeing that he could move, he gestured for him to sit down. The newcomer Uchiha Gin obediently sat opposite the eldest man.

"Uchiha Gin, I will report the losses caused by your mistakes during the day to the clan head upon my return. In the upcoming missions, you must not act recklessly again; all actions must be under my command."

As he spoke, a crimson glint flashed in his narrow eyes, and the oppressive aura emanating from him made Uchiha Gin breathless, but he still forced a nod.

"Three tomoe, that's considered top-tier combat power in the Uchiha clan."

Looking at the three tomoe flashing in his eyes, Uchiha Gin pondered that this mission would be quite difficult.

The original owner of this body had learned during the day that the Hagoromo clan had already completed a major mission. As a proud Uchiha, the original owner naturally couldn't stand the smugness of the Hagoromo clan.

Therefore, he decided to risk venturing deep into the Senju clan's territory to find the mission's target.

Unexpectedly, before even entering the Senju clan's territory, he was discovered by the outer sentries, attracting a Senju clan sniper team. The novice original owner was struck in the back by a monstrous punch in a single exchange.

Originally weak, he was sent flying dozens of meters like a cannonball, landing headfirst and losing consciousness. Fortunately, the older man in front of him, their captain, Uchiha Feng Huo, intervened and saved his life.

This reckless behavior drew criticism from his teammates, but Captain Uchiha Feng Huo, knowing Uchiha Gin's identity, intervened to quell their anger.

"Was the original owner really that reckless?"

At this moment, a figure flashed before them—it was the ponytailed Uchiha who had initially tried to teach Uchiha Gin a lesson.

He had been on night watch and rushed over when he heard everyone in the camp had woken up. Seeing the recovered Uchiha Gin, the ponytailed Uchiha made a face.

"Uchiha Gin, if it weren't for the captain protecting you, I would have burned off all your curly hair long ago. If you cause any more trouble, I'll deal with you before the Senju clan does."

Hearing this, Uchiha Gin felt a pang of pain in his teeth. Looking at the unfriendly gazes of the others, he felt immense pressure.

"Just how disliked was the original owner?"

Gin glanced sideways at the giant shuriken stuck beside him. Through the smooth blade, thanks to the Uchiha clan's superior eyesight, he saw his current appearance for the first time.

A head of messy, fluffy, naturally curly hair, a pair of dead fish eyes that looked like they wanted to be punched. Although the Uchiha clan's genes made him quite handsome, somehow, the original owner's appearance seemed to have an air of irritation.

"I'm sorry everyone, I was reckless during the day. From now on, I will definitely follow your orders." When

you're under someone's roof, you have to bow your head. Besides, he hadn't fully mastered the original owner's power yet, so it was best to play it safe for the time being.

  "Huh???????"

Upon hearing Uchiha Gin's words, everyone present was shocked, exclaiming as if they had seen a ghost.
