Chapter 400 - Chapter 401: That's My Child! I'll Kill You!

Sometimes, a moment of clarity happens in just a split second.

Walking out of the hospital, Fiona stopped and looked up at the sky.

The weather was nice, and the sunshine was brilliant.

Fiona took a deep breath and smiled unconsciously. She smiled for a few seconds, then her face collapsed into a mournful expression before she looked away and started walking home.

From this moment on, the weight of Frank Gallagher in Fiona's heart, if not completely gone, had become microscopic.

Fuck Frank.

Just die already!

Thinking of this, Fiona smiled again.

---

Back at the Gallagher house, Fiona quickly scanned the room.

The house was very quiet, without a single sound. Fiona looked at the sofa and the area beside it... there should have been a pool of dried blood there, but it was basically gone.

Fiona guessed Jimmy had cleaned it up. The corners of her mouth lifted unconsciously into a smile. She felt relieved, so her steps became lighter as she walked upstairs.

Arriving at her bedroom door, Fiona gently pushed it open.

Jimmy was lying on his stomach on the bed, sleeping soundly.

Fiona thought about it, decided not to disturb him, and turned to walk toward Ian and the others' room.

Ian and Carl had both called in sick earlier and were also fast asleep. Liam was awake, standing in his crib and moving around.

Fiona ignored him, pulled the door shut, went to the bathroom, and took a shower. Afterward, she returned to her room, climbed onto Jimmy, and started giving him a blowjob.

Jimmy woke up. Seeing Fiona, he grinned. "Why didn't you call and have me pick you up?"

Hearing this kind of consideration, Fiona felt even happier. "You didn't sleep all night, you needed rest. I just came back on my own."

As they spoke, it wasn't long before Fiona climbed on top and started riding him.

---

After they finished.

A refreshed Jimmy raised his hand to check his watch. Seeing it was already noon, he rubbed his eyes. "I have to go pick someone up later."

"Who?" Fiona asked casually.

"Marco, my wife's boyfriend. I smuggled him in from Brazil. Once he's here, I'm free," Jimmy said with a smile.

Hearing this, Fiona naturally perked up instantly, full of energy. She turned to look at Jimmy. "How does that make you free?"

Jimmy smiled and explained, " The one married to Estefania is Steve Wilton. I'll give all of Steve's IDs to Marco and let Marco become Steve."

Fiona laughed. "That's really smart."

Jimmy smiled.

The two cuddled for a while longer before Jimmy got up and left, heading straight for the port.

Unlike the original storyline, it didn't take too long for Jimmy to successfully pick up Marco. He took Marco back to the Ritz Hotel to meet Estefania.

When Marco appeared before her eyes, instantly—and quite logically—Estefania, who indeed had a hot body and was walking around in only panties, got incredibly excited. She jumped directly onto Marco.

The two started making out passionately. Jimmy stood to the side, acting as if he didn't exist, which was honestly a bit awkward.

Driven by the awkwardness, Jimmy consciously moved a few steps away, sat on the sofa, lit a cigarette, and waited patiently so he could tell Estefania his plan.

However.

Estefania and Marco kissed and kissed, and then started fucking right there on the carpet.

Watching this, Jimmy really couldn't handle it. He couldn't bear to look, but had no other choice, so he gritted his teeth and continued to wait.

Who would have thought that Estefania and Marco would be endless? They went round after round, unable to stop.

Jimmy seriously suspected that idiot Marco had taken drugs, and a lot of them. He had a genuine impulse to grab a hose and spray them apart.

Unfortunately, the impulse remained just an impulse. Jimmy didn't dare actually do it.

The reason was simple.

Marco had brought a gun, and Marco was a drug dealer. He would actually shoot!

Jimmy had no choice but to keep waiting. This wait lasted until dark, when Fiona's call finally came.

"Jimmy, is it done yet?" Fiona asked.

Jimmy looked helpless and shook his head. "I got the guy, but there's a situation. They've been fucking nonstop. It's been hours, they almost haven't stopped. I haven't had a chance to speak."

As someone with extensive experience, Fiona was very familiar with these things. She was stunned. "Fucking for hours? Jesus! Must be smoking by now."

Hearing this, Jimmy was amused. "Not yet."

"I was going to ask you to come over for dinner, but it looks like that's a no-go?" Seeing that Jimmy was about to get rid of Estefania, Fiona was in a good mood and asked in a slightly teasing tone.

Jimmy gave a bitter laugh. "Looks like a no-go. You go to work by yourself tonight. I'll try to get this resolved tonight, and I'll come pick you up when you get off work."

Fiona was in a good mood and agreed crisply. "Okay."

The call ended.

Jimmy lit another cigarette and braced himself to keep waiting.

He waited another half hour.

Finally, Marco and Estefania seemed to be done for the time being.

Seeing this, and terrified they would start again, Jimmy hurriedly stood up, rushed into the adjacent bedroom, and started explaining his plan to Estefania.

On the way here earlier, Jimmy had already explained it to Marco.

After listening, Estefania nodded and agreed with a smile without hesitation. "Sure."

Marco, however, didn't like Jimmy looking at Estefania like that. He immediately roared at Jimmy with a fierce look, "Leave the ID, then fuck off! Don't let me see you again!"

This was exactly what Jimmy wanted. He immediately put on an apologetic smile, put down the IDs he had prepared long ago, didn't say another word, and bolted!

He ran all the way to the elevator in one breath. Jimmy smiled happily and checked his watch. Confirming he still had enough time to go to the Gallagher house to pick up Fiona, he quickly made a call.

"Good news, it's done. I'm coming to find you now."

"Great," Fiona smiled brilliantly. It was the first time in a long while that Fiona had smiled like that.

---

Time flew.

Jimmy picked up Fiona right on time.

Shortly after.

Because she was in a good mood, and because she had finally gotten rid of that hot Brazilian chick Estefania, Fiona took the initiative and started fucking Jimmy right there in the car.

It was truly thrilling.

Jimmy glanced at the cars passing by the window and thought Fiona was simply amazing.

---

The Hospital.

The doctor issued Frank's discharge notice again and, following the 'rules,' brought some pills for Frank.

"Doctor," Frank really didn't want to leave, but he wanted those pills. His eyes darted around as he started bargaining. "I'm about to die, how can I be discharged..."

Frank's mouth kept moving, spouting nonsense.

The doctor knew exactly what kind of scumbag Frank was. Too lazy to listen to Frank's crap, he hurriedly interrupted, "Stop! You want more pills?"

Hearing this, Frank knew he had succeeded. He grinned. "The more the better."

"And then you'll get the hell out?" the doctor asked rudely.

"Of course, I'll leave immediately," Frank replied with a smile.

The doctor, who had actually anticipated this, didn't say more. He pulled two bottles of pills he had prepared earlier from his pocket. "Get lost."

Soon.

A very cheerful Frank swallowed a few pills in one go and left the hospital happily.

Leaving the hospital, Frank subconsciously wanted to head toward the Alibi Room. But the thought that drinking again would really kill him stopped him...

Frank was scared. He gritted his teeth and decided not to go to the Alibi, but to go to the Jackson house to find Eddie!

Frank didn't want to die.

He hadn't drunk enough booze or taken enough pills yet. How could he just die like this!

He walked for about half an hour.

Frank swayed his way to the door of the Jackson house. Thump, thump, thump. He knocked heavily on the door.

Karen wasn't home; she was out playing with Jody. Eddie wasn't there either; he was zombie-walking through his work day. Only Sheila was in the house.

Sheila was sitting on the sofa watching TV, lonely and cold. Hearing the sudden knock, she was startled. She turned her head and, gathering her courage, asked loudly, "Who is it?"

"Frank. Frank Gallagher," Frank's skin was thick enough that their previous little conflict didn't stop him from speaking with self-righteous confidence.

Sheila still hated Frank. Her expression changed, and she shouted decisively, "You are not welcome here. Please leave!"

"Sheila, I have an urgent matter regarding Monica and that child," Frank was smart and played his trump card directly.

This trump card was indeed effective.

Hearing this, Sheila hesitated instantly. After struggling with it, she stood up. "What urgent matter? Tell me."

"I have to tell Eddie this in person. Open the door first," Frank said.

"Eddie went to work. He's not home," Sheila replied.

"You can call him to come back. I really have something urgent to tell him. That is his child, after all," Frank latched onto this point and wouldn't let go.

Sheila loved children. Her heart softened, feeling that no matter what, the child was innocent. She walked over and quickly opened the door.

The door opened. Seeing Sheila, Frank refused to give up. He turned to Sheila with a face full of smiles and used his old, disgusting tone. "Sheila, it's so good to see you again..."

Frank wanted to try and see if he could bamboozle Sheila again.

Sheila had fallen for it once; she wasn't that easy to trick anymore. She kept a straight face. "Don't say that. I have nothing to say to you."

Dropping this sentence, Sheila decisively turned around to call Eddie back.

Frank wasn't one to give up easily. Following behind Sheila, he launched a bombardment of smiling words, trying to cripple this crazy woman with his nonsense again.

Sheila tried hard to keep a straight face, saying nothing, insisting on ignoring Frank, focusing only on making the call.

Eddie, who was at work, panicked immediately after hearing what Sheila said. "I'll be right back."

Sheila hung up the phone, sat back on the sofa, and continued to ignore Frank.

Frank thickened his skin, leaned in next to Sheila, and did his best to ingratiate himself.

In fact, Frank was indeed very good at persuading people, and Sheila was indeed easily swayed.

There it was.

When Frank charmingly mentioned the little games between the two of them, Sheila couldn't help it. She was tempted.

There was no helping it.

Sheila hadn't played those little games in a long time, and she really missed them.

But thinking of those hurtful words Frank had said back then, Sheila got extremely angry again. So she kept a straight face, refused to talk to Frank, and didn't even look at him, staring only at the TV.

---

Time passed in a flash.

Eddie rushed home in a panic. As soon as he saw Frank, he asked anxiously, "What happened to the child?"

Seeing Eddie was back, and business was urgent, Frank simply gave up on Sheila. He stood up. "Eddie, let's talk outside."

Eddie was stunned, not understanding what Frank was doing.

"Sheila, we'll talk another day," Frank said to Sheila with a smile, then walked straight out.

Eddie had to follow.

The two arrived at the roadside.

Frank looked at Eddie's car and smiled, thinking this car should be worth a little money.

Eddie was dying of anxiety. He was in no mood to dawdle with Frank. He asked again immediately, "What exactly is wrong with the child?"

Hearing this, Frank withdrew his gaze. "The child is fine for now. Don't panic."

Eddie: "??? Then why did Sheila say you had an urgent matter about the child?"

Frank smiled. "Here's the thing. I just got out of the hospital. I'm sick, a pretty serious illness. It costs a lot of money to treat."

"I asked Sheila to call you back because I want to make a deal with you. We can solve the problem of this child once and for all."

"What do you think?"

"???" Hearing these words, Eddie's face darkened.

He had raced all the way back, worried sick!

And it turned out to be a lie!

Fuck!

Damn Frank!!

Eddie really wanted to punch Frank, but he couldn't. After all, from a certain perspective, Frank effectively held an important hostage...

Eddie had to endure it. Gritting his teeth, he asked, "What deal?"

Frank smiled smugly. "I divorce Monica. Monica and your child belong completely to you, having absolutely nothing to do with me anymore."

"In return, you cover my medical expenses."

Hearing this, Eddie's eyes lit up slightly.

If Frank really withdrew completely...

That would be a good thing.

"What illness do you have? How much are the medical expenses?" Eddie was a bit tempted.

The smile on Frank's face deepened. "A slightly serious illness. I need a liver transplant. It will cost about two hundred thousand dollars."

Hearing this.

Eddie was dumbfounded.

Two hundred thousand dollars???

Are you kidding me?

"How could I possibly have that much money!" Recovering his senses, Eddie exclaimed in shock.

Frank kept smiling. "I know you don't have that much cash, but you have a car, you have a house, you have savings, and a pension. I think you can scrape it together."

Frank displayed an attitude that suggested he knew Eddie's family situation particularly well.

This attitude made Eddie really want to punch this shameless bastard to the ground!!!

Motherfucker, he is just too hateful!!!

"Impossible!" Even if Eddie could touch the house, he wouldn't dare.

Frank anticipated this reaction from Eddie and wasn't anxious at all. "Eddie, I need this liver transplant. I have no other choice."

"So, if you don't agree to this deal, I can only think of other ways."

"Do you know how much a white baby with two white parents is worth on the black market?"

"Those guys who have money but can't have children will pay a lot, a lot of money."

Thump.

Hearing these words clearly, Eddie was stunned!

What kind of shameless bastard do you have to be to say something like that!

The next second.

Eddie was furious, unable to hold back any longer.

Fuck it!

"That is my child! I'll kill you!" Eddie roared, swung his fist, and punched Frank in the head.

Buzz.

Frank hit the ground, unconscious.
