Four years later.....
Graduation had barely settled into memory when responsibility found them—heavy, demanding, and somehow familiar.
Jay took JJM higher than it had ever been, her name written into every decision.
Keifer carried Watson Corp forward with intention, no longer bound by expectation but choice.
They built empires in parallel.
And today, they joined them—
Not as corporations, but as hearts.
Today, that legacy stood at the altar, dressed in white and certainty.
JAY'S POV
They tell you your wedding day goes by in a blur.
They're wrong.
Every second feels carved into me.
The doors at the end of the aisle are closed, white and tall and trembling slightly with the movement outside.
I can hear the low murmur of voices. Laughter. Someone coughing.
Someone crying already.
Percy stands beside me, immaculate in a dark suit, calm as ever.
His presence is steady, grounding—just like it's always been.
"You ready?" he asks softly.
I look down at myself.
White fabric. Clean lines. No armor. No weapons. No shadows clinging to my heels.
Just me.
Jay.
Then I felt it....
Something sharper than any battlefield I've ever stood on.
The doors open.
Light floods in.
And there he is.
Keifer Watson.
Standing at the altar in a tailored black suit, shoulders squared, hands clasped tight like he's holding the entire universe together with sheer will. His eyes meet mine and immediately soften, like every version of him has stepped aside to let the one who loves me most stand forward.
I walk toward him.
Each step is deliberate.
I pass Section E first—front row, impossible to miss.
Felix is already crying. Loudly.
Cin is recording vertically and horizontally at the same time.
Calix mouths ICONIC.
Yuri stands with quiet pride, hands folded.
Drew looks like he's restraining himself from cheering early.
Denzel nods once—respect.
Mayo and Kit are holding hands dramatically.
Eman and Rory grin like this is their wedding.
Aries and Angelo smile softly, eyes shining.
Tita Gema presses her hand to her heart.
Percy watches me like he always has—steady, protective, proud.
Damian meets my gaze and gives me the smallest nod.
You're safe.
You're loved.
You made it.
When I reach Keifer, he exhales like he's been holding his breath for four years.
"You look…" he starts, voice breaking, "…like the answer."
I smile. "You look like home."
The officiant speaks, but the words blur into warmth and sunlight and the sound of Keifer's heartbeat when he takes my hands.
Then it's time.
Our vows.
Keifer goes first.
He swallows, clears his throat, and looks at me like this is the bravest thing he's ever done.
"Jay," he begins softly, "loving you was never the easy choice. It was the right one."
A ripple moves through the crowd.
"You showed me that strength doesn't mean control, and loyalty doesn't mean fear. You taught me that staying is louder than saving, and truth is worth every cost."
His thumb brushes my knuckles.
"I promise to stand with you when the world gets dark again—because it will. I promise to never ask you to be smaller so I can feel safer. I promise to choose you, every day, even when choosing you is hard."
His voice breaks.
"Especially then."
Tears blur my vision.
He takes a breath.
"I loved you before I understood you. I love you now knowing everything. And I will love you for as long as this universe dares to exist."
The silence that follows is reverent.
Then it's my turn.
I inhale.
"I wasn't raised to believe in softness," I say quietly. "I was taught survival. Control. Silence."
Keifer's eyes never leave mine.
"But you," I continue, "you looked at every sharp edge in me and didn't ask me to put it down. You just learned how to hold me without bleeding."
Someone sniffles. Felix. Definitely Felix.
"I promise to be honest—even when it scares me. I promise to come back, even when leaving feels easier. I promise to build a life with you that doesn't run from the past but isn't owned by it either."
My voice steadies.
"You loved me when I didn't know how to rest. So I promise you this—my heart is yours, not as a weapon, not as a shield… but as a home."
Keifer's lashes are wet.
"So long as there is breath in me," I finish, "it will be you."
The officiant smiles, blinking back emotion.
"By the power vested in me," they say, "I now pronounce you—"
Felix shoots to his feet.
"HUSBAND AND WIFEEEEEE—"
The officiant laughs. "—husband and wife."
Applause explodes.
Cheers. Whistles. Felix actually jumps.
Keifer doesn't wait.
He cups my face, reverent, familiar, and kisses me—deep, warm, unafraid.
The kind of kiss that says we survived.
The kind that says we chose this.
When we pull back, he rests his forehead against mine.
"Hi, wife," he whispers.
I laugh through tears. "Hi, husband."
Section E loses their collective mind.
We turn to face the crowd—our crowd.
Family. Friends. Fighters. Witnesses.
And as petals fall and sunlight wraps around us, I realize something quietly, completely, finally true—
This isn't a soft ending.
It's a strong one....
