Chapter 2 - 1st plate: Guest arrive

Shinji awoke to the rays of light filtering through the windows of his new room. It was quite cozy, but it wasn't really decorated. It was new after all. There was a desk, a bed, a closet for clothes, and there was a bookshelf. That was enought for now, but Shinji did plan to upgrade it later.

'Why must I wake?' he thought as he hopped, well slowly wobbled, out of bed and stood. He did a quick stretch to release the tension in his body. He did a quick workout to get the blood pumping, and as he was finished, a light layer of sweat coated his body. He rose from his workout, only wearing the bare essentials. He like to sleep free, a hold over from the memory transfer.

He put on a pair of jeans and a blue shirt. It was friday and he should be at school. Yet, he decided not to go. It wasn't a safe space, and Zouken could attack them any moment there.

He descended the stairs and felt the bounded field that was modified by the great angel of God. What else could he be, Metatron, the scribe of God and one of the highest beings of the heavenly kingdom. He who stood directly next to God and heard his word directly.

The field thrummed with a dense power, far more dense than how he could make. Maybe if he waited a little while longer for his reserves to bulk up, it might be able to match it with more complicated spell work, but even then it operates on a power more alien than my own. It was seeped in so much mystery and divine power, it was a sanctuary, it was safety made manifest in the physical world.

He went to the kitchen and began to brew a cup of coffee. The liquid was bitter yet invigorating, like a good medicine. He didn't add anything to it, thinking it might dull the taste he liked.

He took careful sips of the drink, and began wondering what he might do going forward. The Grail war is in two weeks, he needed to prepare. 'Set up extra defenses, plan with Angra to utilize the greater Grail, and what the blessing might mean for the reastaraunt.'

He sighed as the bell above his door rang with a clarifying sound and Shinji turned to greet whoever came though.

When God made the earth and the universe, he declared it a seedbed, and seeded it with the power to birth a myriad of worlds in defiance of casualty and history. Constructing worlds with the tools of ink and paper, games and movies giving birth to rightful and complete worlds in their own right. It was what made earth special.

It is with this seedbed that the bounded field taps into, and the source of his freedom from [FATE].

In a world dominated by the whims of Gods, devils, and those gifted powers from the God of that world, was a red hair girl. A genius in some sense, granted the demonic power of destruction from Gremory blood, swelling with destructive concepts.

She was named Rias Gremory and was titled the 'Crimson haired princess of ruin'.She was taking a stroll of her territory, serving as relaxation and reconnaissance. 'I should really get out more and look around' she thought. She did survey her territory, but she wanted to get out and experience more. Less like she was a general observing their their soldiers training, but as a reason to just explore.

As she explored, she felt something shimmer at the edge of her sight. It was laced with magic, and the substance which made her narrow her eyes and wince in slight, instinctual, pain was the angelic divinity woven into the foundation of the barrier surrounding the establishment.

'That is odd, that wasn't there yesterday' she thought as she approached. If there was a magician strolling into town, or if an angel was descending, she would have been informed. Atleast, the party coming into her territory would have to atleast inform her.

She wondered why, her body wanted to instinctively flee. Yet the light felt comforting, it felt welcoming to her. That was a strange notion to think of, angelic light welcoming in a being like her into their domains. 'Pretty strange for a place cloaked in angelic power' she thought as she finally approached the door. With a baited breath, she opened it.

In the lands of Liurnia dwelt a manor of great size. Guarded by finger creepers, a magic knight, and even wolves of great size and power. The air around the manor tinged with ancient and thick magical power. What this manor held, what the beings inside guarded , that was the most interesting part.

She wasn't human, for she sacrificed her demigod and empyrean flesh. Her new body was blue in color as was her hair and eyes. She wore a white dress that was made for her particular body, sewn akin to a dolls clothing het flexible and moving like normal cloth. Her dress even took into account her four arms. On her head which completed the look was a white, wide brimmed witches hat.

She sat at her desk, fumbling over old times and documents of magical and benign matters. A sharp *Rattata*ntook her mind from the matters of ritual and state as she said "Come in!"

"Lady Ranni" said Blaidd as he stepped through. A bipedal wolfman wearing a long fur coat, having grey fur. He wielded a greatsword and wore the Carian Filigreed crest on his cloak with silver clasps. He was a shadow, tailored into something useable by his empyrean master, Lady Ranni.

"What is it Blaidd? I hope it is more important than matters concerning ritual and state" said Ranni. Blaidd bowed to his lady, Ranni the empyrean who slew her own empyrean flesh to escape the meddling of the two fingers.

"Something strange has appeared in the Moongazing grounds in the manors upper level" Blaidd reported, his head still bowed. Ranni cocked her doll head to the side as her eyes, tangible and intangible alike, was at full attention.

"What is it Blaidd?" asked Ranni as she rose from her chair. "You should come see for yourself I think" said Blaidd as Ranni began heading to the Moongazing grounds. Blaidd, like a loyal hound, was following behind her at a brisk pace.

In the Moongazing grounds in which they arrived, was a door of golden light. Not the golden light of the erdtree or its incantations, for this light was more welcoming and more subtle brilliance different than the more harsher light of the erdtree.

"What does the sign say?" asked Blaidd and Ranni read "Golden cup." "Are you going to go through my lady?" asked Blaid as Ranni tried to make sense of what was before her. "I think we should Blaidd, its seems to welcome us in" Ranni smiled as she stepped, nearly gliding, towards the door.

It wasn't the [Fate] of hers written in the stars held in the sky by her redmaned brother. It was her own choice, her deciding her own [Fate]. She grasped the knob and twisted the door open.

In the pride ring of Hell, a certain demon was exiting the hotel of one Princess Morningstar. He walked with light steps that seemed to fit his more spider like nature. Angel Dust, a well known demon pornstar, dressed in revealing clothes, face marked with a smile, was walking the streets of hell.

He came upon a vending machine which came with a multitude of drugs: Angel dust, crank, blow, Mary Jane to name a few. "I think Angel dust will do the trick" Angel snickered as he pushed the button and a bag of the special dust dropped into his hands.

"This will make the night more fun, funner than the broads af the hotel" he spoke, not with ill intent like most demons seemed to have in the dreary place of hell. Wonder if England was based of it?

He was about to open the bag to give it a good snort, but it was taken out of his hands by a wando covered in fur and spider legs. "Hey!" Angel screamed as the demon replied "Up yours drag show!"

"I spent good money on that" he sighed as he felt something pull on his senses, as if beckoning him to come close. It was a familiar sensation, one he wanted to recoil from. The sensation of having his sense manipulated made him wanted to find a place to hide.

But this seemed different than what he was familiar with, it was welcoming, it was light against the darkness. It was warm where the other was a cold, deep cold. Then came the light of an angel. It was different than the light he was familiar with.

He walked to the source of the feeling, and what was there was a door on the side of building. it read "Golden cup" and it was, cozy feeling. Angel dust, curious as he could be, turned the knop and opened the door.

In the depths of a long island forest, inside the state of New York. Inside the depths of the forest was a camp that was quite peculiar to the normal scene. Camp Half-bood, was a quant little camp that was built for demigods, the children of the gods.

It was composed of many cabins with the twelve Olympians being their patrons. The camp hummed with the faint thrum of divinity, strong and weak, mixing together in a strong wave seeding itself into the very air. It was quite pleasant compared to the outside air, and a strange barrier was enveloping the camp as well.

Standing at a small fire was a young girl. Well, young wasn't quite right to describe her as she was over thousands of years old. Yet, she took the innocent and pure form of a child tending to the flame. Her aura was like a soft, comforting flame that was the center of the home. It carried the scents of home cooking, bread and many other things. Her air was a soft, brown color. Her eyes were an ambered, flame hue. She wore a modest brown dress, with an accompanying shawl that finished the look along with flats.

Hestia, the goddess of the heart and family. She was the most humble of her family, though she was older and had power they knew not. For without her protection, the flames of olympus would have been snuffed long ago and the protection gone.

She was tending to the flame, having a soft smile on her face. It was the only activity she found some solace in, away from the hearth of her own family. She could remember the arguments that her brothers had, especially now that the bolt was missing from Zeus's armory.

A divine item missing was a pressing issue. Not only did it represent your godly authority, it was also central to a gods arsenal. Poseidon had great power as one of the great sons of Kronos, titan of the Harvest, and his domain of the ocean. His trident acted as a focus for his divine abilities, and as it was said before, his symbol of godhood and thus contain a concentrated amount of divine powers.

Hestia Sighed and spoke, "At least there isn't much happening yet, but I worry for Poseidon and his blood." Though the three brothers were forbidden from having children after ww2, Hestia was aware of his own folley and the folley of Zeus. Her domain was family, and she knew when another demigod of her family was born.

She wondered what trouble would her newest nephew would get in later, it was only a matter of time. She sighed again and decided to take a small stroll to clear her mind, and something began to beckon her senses.

She turned her eyes and sensed a golden aura eminating from the forest. It was an aura she was familiar with. The angels of christianity were quite nice to interact with, but their believers were a mixed bag. She wondered why they would do anything to this forest.

"I wonder" she thought as she went into the deep of the woods, and what she came upon was a door bathed in angelic glow. A sign that read "Golden Cup" was emblazoned upon it. It was beckoning her into the threshold, and the aura surrounding the door was welcoming and comforting.

As a goddess who represented the flames of the hearth, she stepped towards the golden glowed door and walked inside.

Hyrule was a decently calm place, a world created with the power of three golden goddesses. Named after the goddess Hylia and inhabited by many races, like Hylians, fish-like humanoids called Zora, and rockeating Gorons.

In a village that was quite out of the way, in a province bordered by the forest of Faron, was Ordon. Ordon village was a quaint little farming village, mainly supplying pumpkins and products sourced from the local ordon goats. Unlike the hylians which populate hylians provinces, Ordonians have rounded ears. They were governed by a large mayor called Bo.

What was the strangest person there was Link. Link was a person who traveled to Ordon village from somewhere. He was sitting in his house, kicking back with a book in his hand with strange, sorcerous glyphs along with a book next to him with a dictionary.

"I feel tired with this" said Link, yawning from long reading and translating, already too much effort than he normally puts out for something like this. He got up from his chair and made his way outside and down the ladder. He walked into the village proper and headed to Sarahs Sundry Shop.

"Hey Sarah, you got some milk in store?" asked Link as Sarah looked up from her cat and her eyes beamed. "Welcome Link! Of course we do" said Sarah as she brought over a container and poured it into the offered bottle and collected the rupees.

"Oh by the way Sarah, did my order come in?" asked Link as Sarah scrunched her eyebrows and brought out the list of incoming and outgoing deliveries. "No, it doesn't seem like it" said Sarah, offering a sorry for the trouble. "Its fine Sarah, just wanted to check" said Link as he left the shop and headed towards the holy spirit springs.

"I should check on epona first" said Link as he looked at his horse, who apparently was just waking from her nap. He checked her for injuries, brushed her mane and making sure she was clean, he continued on his way to the springs.

As he was nearing the sacred springs of light, he spotted something, and it seemed like his spirit and intuition were being guided to the thing spotted. As Link got closer, he realized something strange. It was a door in the middle of the woods.

The light was something foreign, not what eminated from the springs on a certain week of the year, nor the light given off by the sun nor moon. Yet, it stirred something deep within him, like a deep whisper to something ancient.

He went towards the supernatural door, wondering if it was the divine Providence of the light spirits or the Goddess herself. He shook his head, wondering why the goddess would call on someone like him. He wasn't anything special, and he wasn't someone who was worthy to stand her brilliant grace.

Yet, he stilled his nerves, and with a steady hand he opened the door, curious on what it would entail.
