Leo: "...and then, we saved her and took her back home safely."
Splinter: "That is very gentle of you, my sons. I see that you are... quite interstellar about this girl."
I was in the dojo with Master Splinter, telling him everything that had happened with the girl we'd met.
Leo: "I won't lie to you, Sensei... we are. But I'm worried about her. Shredder spoke about her having some kind of dangerous power. He wants to kill her—and steal that power to destroy us! I... I don't know what to do."
Splinter: "A power...? Hmm. Then I must meet her myself. I need to speak with her... to understand the truth behind her soul."
When he said that, a smile instantly bloomed on my face.
Leo: "Hai, Sensei!"
Splinter: "Bring her to our lair. This girl is welcome anytime, my son."
Leo: "Thank you, Sensei! The guys will be so happy to hear that!"
I bowed to him respectfully, then sprinted out of the dojo to tell my brothers the incredible news. I couldn't believe it. She was really coming to stay with us—even for a little while!
Leo: "Guys, GUYS! Guess what!!"
Mikey: "Please tell me you're finally ordering pizza!!"
Leo: "Nope. Something even better. Way better!"
Raph: "What is it?"
Leo: "Sensei said Malak can come stay with us. Tonight."
Their eyes all widened in sync.
Turtles (together): "WHAT?! Really?!"
Leo: "Yup. He wants to meet her. He said she's welcome in our home."
Mikey: "Awesome!! That's even better than pizza night! Let's go get the pretty princess already!"
Donnie: "Perfect! I'll clean up the lab. If she's staying, she might end up being my partner in science!"
Raph: "I bet she'd love sparring with me in the dojo."
Mikey: "No way! She's totally gonna hang out with me! We'll skateboard, I'll teach her cool moves, show her my comics, play some video games—BoyakaSHA!!!"
Leo (chuckling): "Alright, alright—I get that you're all excited. But let's not overwhelm her, okay? We need to be chill."
Raph: "And what are you gonna show her, fearless leader?"
Leo (smirking): "Space Heroes. Obviously. And maybe a little one-on-one training."
Raph: "Ugh. Not that dumb show again."
Donnie (snapping): "CAN WE FOCUS?! Grab your gear—we've got to bring her here!"
Mikey: "YEAHHH BOYYY!"
We all geared up, hearts pounding with excitement, and headed out. Just as we were running across the rooftops... boom.
There it was.
A giant Kraang ship flying straight toward us.
Donnie: "Uh-oh. Kraang ship. AND—WAIT. THEY HAVE LASERS?!"
Turtles: "RUNNNNNNN!!!"
We scattered like shadows, trying to hide. But the ship kept chasing us.
We finally ducked into a safe alley, and I spun on Donnie.
Leo (yelling): "DONNIE! SCIENCE EXPLANATION! NOW!!"
Donnie (panting): "This is bad. Really bad. The Kraang built a new ship—it flies, has lasers, AND it's scanning the city looking for us. Which means... they're planning something big."
What Donnie said made my stomach sink.
How were we supposed to stop a flying ship... with our weapons?! Even my katanas wouldn't stand a chance.
Leo: "We need to keep Malak in the lair. It's too dangerous to leave her alone—especially with this whole 'mystery power' thing."
Donnie: "Agreed. But how are we gonna convince her?"
Leo: "I'll talk to her. You guys head back to the lair. Get everything ready. And Mikey—don't forget the pizza."
Mikey: "I'm gonna order the ULTIMATE pepperoni-chili-cheesy-mozzarella combo she's ever seen! BOYAKASHAAAA!!!"
Leo: "Alright. Let's move."
Everyone nodded and headed off. I turned in the opposite direction, toward her place. I just hoped she was okay. Because tonight, everything was changing—for all of us.

Malak's POV "))
It's Friday and my weekend has started. No more studies, no more exams—just a cup of hot chocolate (my favorite drink ever) and watching TV! I went to the kitchen to make some hot cocoa and baked some biscuits. After I finished, I grabbed my cocoa and biscuits and sat on my lovely cozy couch to watch TV.
I was about to pick a channel when suddenly, I heard someone knocking on the window! I left my drink and went to see who it was. Before I opened it... I saw Leo??!!!
Malak: Ah! Leo!!
I quickly opened the window for him and crushed him into a deep hug!
Malak: Hi! Oh, I missed you so much!
Leo: I missed you too, Malak.
He said my name and slowly pulled away, but his face looked a little worried.
Leo: I need to talk to you. Seriously.
Now I felt so worried!!
Malak: Come on, man! Get inside. Of course we're not going to talk like that!
Leo: Thank you.
Then he went inside and I quickly closed the window behind him. Yeah, it's dangerous if he stays outside—maybe someone could see him!!
Leo: Wow, you really have a nice, cozy home.
Malak: Yeah, small like me, hehehe 😅.
I chuckled, and he chuckled too. I went to the kitchen to make him some cocoa and give him my freshly baked biscuits!! He was sitting on the couch waiting for me. I put his cocoa and biscuits on the cute heart tray and went to the living room to offer him the drink.
Leo: Thank you so much!
Malak: You're welcome. Please feel free to relax and don't be shy!
Leo: Of course, thank you. Well... I'm sorry if I scared you so much, I really am... but this is really, really important!
Malak: It's okay, Leo.
I softly said.
Leo: Alright. My brothers, and especially my father, want you to visit us in our home.
Malak: Ooo, you have a father?! That's awesome!!
Leo: Yeah, w-well... he's a mutant like us. Actually, he's a rat that can talk and teach ninjutsu.
I looked at him a little confused—not because of how his father looks, but because of how shy and scared he was to tell me this!
Malak: Really?? That's awesome! Don't worry. I don't judge or bully people. I'm not that kind of rude person at all.
He gave me a proud, warm smile.
Leo: Thank you. You're so polite and kind, really. But... that's not what I'm here for...
He looked like he was hiding something from me!!
Malak: Leo... what. is. going. on by the name of the couch we're sitting on!!!
I said in a serious tone because I was getting too worried now!!
Leo: Alright, alright... I'll spill it out. We need you... to... um... live. With. Us.
He said it like he was scared of my reaction!!
Malak: W-why??? But I already have a home, Leo!
I said it with a chuckle in my voice.
Leo: No, I know. But... there's danger outside, Malak. Do you remember the soldiers that attacked you last night?
Malak: Yes...
Leo: And the rhinoceros? And the skeleton dog?
Malak: Yes!!
Leo: All of them are working with someone called "Shredder."
Suddenly, I remembered the guy who captured me at the port that time.
Malak: Ahh... you mean the cheese cutter?!?!
He blinked many times in confusion!
Leo: Oh lord... I can see Mikey between my eyes now!! Yes, Malak, yes—the cheese cutter like you named him. That guy is the most dangerous evil gangster in all of New York City and Japan!! They're all dangerous. And he said that h-he wanted to... to kill you. But first, to take the powers inside you—and then kill all of us.
What?!?! What powers?!?! I don't have any powers!!!!!! I swear, my heart just dropped to the floor right now!!!!
Malak: What powers?!?! I don't have any powers, Leo!!!! I'm just a normal girl with a normal life.
Leo: I know!!! And I swear I don't know anything about your powers, but believe me—you have to live with us so we can protect you and keep you safe. Don't worry... it's bigger than you think. And we have an extra room. It's safe and sweet!
I swear, whoever taught this boy how to be so polite and gentle deserves a golden medal!!
Malak: W-why are you so worried about me like that, Leo??
Suddenly, his eyes met mine, and he stared at me deeply. I felt some strands of my hair fall over my eyes...
Then he opened his mouth and started to talk...
Leo: I... it's really too early to say this but... um... because I... because I love you, Malak.
O...M...G!!!!! H-he... he's in love with me?!?! My hero is in love with me?!?! Since when?!? How?!? Where?!? I gasped in awe—I couldn't even believe this adorable moment. The way he said "I love you" made my heart jump from its place!!!
Malak: Y-you... love me?
Leo: Yes, I do. Since the first moment I met you.
Malak: Awwww... come here, my boy!!
I couldn't hold myself anymore—I entered his warm arms, hugging him tightly!!
And he hugged me back in the sweetest way!!
Malak: I love you more, my hero!! ❤️
Then I heard him chuckle!! Hehehe... I really loved Leo so much since the beginning. But I held those feelings in my heart, not to hurt him or make the moment awkward! We slowly pulled away, and he gently used his thumbs to brush the strands from my eyes, softly placing his hand on my cheek.
In that moment... I felt something in my heart that I had never felt before.
Love!!
A warm feeling filled my heart ❤️
And he kept staring into my eyes—and I into his!
Leo: Then... are you okay with the idea of staying with us in the lair?
He gently said as he pulled his hand slowly away from my cheek.
Malak: Yes, I am. What you see as right for me—I see it too, Leo. Who am I to doubt you about something like that?!
I put one of my hands on his strong shoulder to reassure him that I agreed.
Leo: Then let's go.
Malak: Alright—but first, I need to take all my stuff. I don't know how long I'll be staying with you, and I want to bring something for you guys!
Leo: Uhh... you don't have to, Malak.
Malak: Nah, I'm serious! Um, what about fresh pizza??
Leo: That's awesome—Mikey is gonna love it!!
Malak: Ooo, I'm so excited to see your reactions to my food skills! Is your home far from here?
Leo: W-well, no, but... please don't be disgusted when I say this to you... well, um... we actually live... in the sewers!!
Malak: Really? And why would I be disgusted by that?? That's okay, Leo. Don't worry!
Leo: I mean—it's not exactly in the sewers, but it's near them! The only way to get there is through the sewers.
Malak: Wow, your life is really interesting!! I think I'll have a lot of fun with you guys!!!
Leo: Aww, thanks, my sweetheart!!
I leaned closer, gave him a soft kiss on his cheek, and stood up to get ready to leave the house!
Malak: Ookay, I am ready now!
Leo: You sure?
Malak: Mm... yes!
Leo: Okay then, let me carry your stuff!
Malak: Aww, that's sweet of you, my hero. Thank you!
I warmly thanked him as he carried my stuff and we headed out to his home. He stopped and opened the manhole cover, and we entered inside. I can't deny the smell here is so bad, but anything for him. One day, he will know that I have a very kind heart, and nothing will make me rude!!
While we were walking, he was telling me about Master Splinter and his brothers. I'm really so excited to see his "sensei", as he called him. After five minutes straight of walking, we finally arrived. He didn't lie when he said that it was so big!! There is a big couch, a TV, and a lot of video games and play corners!!! And no way!!! A DOJO!!!!???? Awesome!!!
And the smell of the lair doesn't even smell like the sewers at all!!
Leo: Welcome to our modest lair! I'm so excited to show you the rest!!!
He goofily said, making me chuckle!
Suddenly, I heard the voice of someone saying my name coming from the dojo!!
Donnie: MALAK!!!
Mikey: OUR FAIRY PRINCESS IS HEREEEE!!!!!!!!
I found all of them crushing me into a deep, bone-breaking hug!!! Aww, I missed them so much, I swear!!
Malak: Aww, I have missed you guys so much, really!!
Then I found Raph coming from afar to greet me!
Raph: How are you, princess? Missed you so much!
Malak: Hehe, I missed you too, big boy!
I bet he liked that version of greeting, as he gave me a proud smile!!
Splinter: Welcome, Miss Malak. My sons have told me about you... a lot.
I turned to the voice and found a big rat holding a green stick and wearing a Japanese brown kimono. Maybe this is him... the father. The ninja master.
Malak: Thank you, Master Splinter!
I bowed to him, as it means respect in Japan. But I found him looking a little surprised...
