Beside him, the kings of the Gale, Sea realm, and Dream realm, each with their personal ministers and generals arranged in neat formation behind their respective seats.
The five judges of the Penta Rings sat opposite behind a curved bench of black marble. Lord Kavan occupied the center—Supreme Judge, a man whose expression had settled permanently into authority and contempt somewhere in his third decade of the role. His four colleagues flanked him in descending seniority.
The four deities sat elevated above everyone else.
