Chapter 62: A Morning of Misunderstandings
I drank yesterday… but then what happened? I think I saw Naruto!
This isn't my room! Where am I?
Just then, the door opened, and a crisp voice called out, "Naruto, you came to my room yesterday, so today I'm coming to yours to take a look!"
It was Sasuke! After thinking it over last night, she still couldn't decide what she should do, so she simply stopped thinking about it. She'd just find Naruto to train first!
But when she entered Naruto's room, she found a beautiful woman lying on the bed. For a moment, she thought she'd gotten the wrong room, but that didn't make sense. Naruto had mentioned his room number before; she couldn't have remembered it wrong!
Suddenly, Sasuke felt a tap on her shoulder. She turned her head to see none other than Naruto.
Naruto was holding a bag of breakfast in one hand and drinking milk with the other. Seeing it was Sasuke, he was stunned. "Sasuke, you're here early!"
"Naruto!?" Sasuke spun around. "Is this your room?"
"Yeah, uh…" Naruto nodded, but then immediately realized something, his expression turning unnatural.
When Sasuke heard this, her face instantly turned cold. She pulled him into the room. "But why is she… Kurenai-sensei… in your room!?" Sasuke hadn't seen clearly at first, but now she realized the beautiful woman was Yūhi Kurenai!
She was both shocked and furious. Kurenai is actually staying at Naruto's place!? What is this!?
At that moment, Kurenai also came to her senses. Finding Naruto and Sasuke there, she was momentarily stunned. Then she suddenly noticed something, her expression changing drastically. She pulled back the blanket to look and let out a soft cry. "Ah! Where are my clothes!?"
As soon as Kurenai said this, she instinctively covered her mouth, then looked at Naruto with a mixture of embarrassment and anger.
Naruto was now on the receiving end of Sasuke's murderously resentful glare.
"Naruto!!!" Sasuke practically roared at him. "You pervert, die!"
Raising her hand, Sasuke swung a slap at Naruto's head. Startled, Naruto quickly raised his hand and caught her wrist.
"Hey! What are you doing!?" Naruto was now both helpless and depressed, also taken aback by Sasuke's extreme reaction.
"You! Let go of me! Your filthy hands!" Sasuke's face was icy, trembling with anger. Her other hand pointed at the panicked Kurenai on the bed. "You two! What happened between you!?"
At this moment, Sasuke felt both wronged and furious. Naruto, that jerk! I happily came to train with him, and it turns out he was fooling around with a woman last night! And with an instructor like Yūhi Kurenai!
This is just too much! I never expected Naruto to be so despicable! Right now, Sasuke wished she had the strength to stomp him into the ground!
"Hey, calm down, Sasuke!" Hearing her harsh scolding and seeing her so agitated, Naruto thought to himself that this girl wasn't just jealous but also overly suspicious. He felt both helpless and a little amused.
Pulling her further inside, he set down the breakfast and sat her down. He then looked at Kurenai and explained, "Kurenai-sensei, you were drunk last night and vomited all over your clothes. I had no choice but to take your coat off. I apologize if I overstepped."
Hearing Naruto's explanation, Kurenai finally calmed down, letting out a sigh of relief. Recalling the events of last night, she felt both exasperated and amused. "So that's what happened. Ah, why did I act like a little girl? I'm really sorry for misunderstanding you."
Sasuke, listening from the side, looked slightly better after hearing their exchange, but then pressed further. "You only have one bed. Where did you sleep last night?"
When Sasuke asked this, Kurenai also frowned curiously and looked at Naruto.
Naruto rubbed the bridge of his nose with a wry smile. "Because Kurenai-sensei took the bed, I slept on the roof last night, watching the stars. Are you satisfied?"
"Wha— What do I have to be unsatisfied about? Don't talk nonsense!" Hearing Naruto's words, Sasuke secretly breathed a sigh of relief but immediately covered up in a fluster. "It's none of my business where you sleep, you jerk! Hmph!"
Kurenai, now understanding the full situation, found the bickering between Naruto and Sasuke quite amusing and couldn't help teasing, "Naruto, it seems you're quite the charmer! Even Sasuke is smitten with you! Look how nervous she was just now! Hehehe…"
Sasuke's face flushed bright red. Being teased so directly by Kurenai, she immediately shot her a vicious glare and fled the room in embarrassment.

Watching Sasuke run off, Naruto was momentarily stunned. Given Sasuke's personality, she shouldn't be this shy. The fact that she couldn't handle Kurenai's teasing showed she really did care about him.

He picked up Kurenai's clothes from the side and said calmly, "Alright. Since you insist on an answer, I'll give you one."

Naruto tossed the clothes to her, the corner of his mouth lifting slightly. "How about I choose you, then?"
