Chapter 25 - Your Grandson Raifeng Is a Monster Among Monsters!

"Colonel Bogard… aren't you going to announce the result?"

Raifeng looked at the still-shaken Bogard with a smile.

Bogard snapped out of it and quickly made the official call.

"This duel ends here. The winner—Raifeng."

Just like that, the match was over.

The Marines on deck were still staring at the young boy in the center, katana in hand, as if they couldn't process what they'd just witnessed.

A seven-year-old… defeating Koby.

Not just defeating him—

Instantly overwhelming him.

A one-move victory.

Who could've predicted that?

"It's… over…"

Koby stood there in a daze, his mind completely blank.

He lost.

And not only did he lose—

He lost horrifically.

He had been cut down in a single exchange by a boy who was only seven.

Even now, Koby still couldn't believe it.

Raifeng calmly withdrew the katana and walked up to Bogard, returning it.

"Colonel Bogard. Here—your sword."

Bogard shook his head with a smile.

"No need. It suits you better. And you really do need a weapon you're comfortable with—though this katana isn't anything special."

Bogard couldn't help but feel emotional.

So young…

And yet the swordsmanship was already that refined.

A new generation replacing the old…

A seven-year-old swordsman—absurd.

If he hadn't seen it with his own eyes, Bogard wouldn't have believed it.

Raifeng's composure, his stance, his timing—

Everything about him had the qualities of a genuine swordsman.

In other words…

Seven-year-old Raifeng was already a qualified swordsman.

"Vice Admiral Garp," Bogard thought bitterly,

"your grandson's talent is… ridiculous."

He had never seen anyone with sword talent this terrifying.

He was a child—

But the moment he held a blade, it felt as if Bogard were facing a veteran swordsman.

"If that's the case," Raifeng said, not bothering with more politeness, "then I'll accept."

He did need a weapon.

This katana wasn't a named blade, but it was issued by the Marines—its quality wouldn't be trash.

Of course, it couldn't compare to true famous swords—graded blades like the Ryo Wazamono or above.

But for now?

It was enough.

His swordsmanship had only reached Lv.5, after all. At this stage, he didn't need a legendary blade yet. A solid katana would do.

Still—

Raifeng narrowed his eyes.

"A named blade…"

"A symbol of a swordsman's identity—and strength."

"Sooner or later… I'll get a famous sword of my own."

He silently set a small goal:

He would obtain a named blade—one that belonged to him alone.

But right now, he could make do.

As his swordsmanship rose, the difference between an average blade and a great blade would only become more obvious.

Just then—

A heavy voice thundered beside him.

"Brat."

Raifeng turned.

Garp.

The vice admiral loomed over him, eyes bulging like a furious beast, glaring as if he wanted to drill holes through Raifeng's skull.

"Talk."

"When did you learn swordsmanship?"

"And how many things are you still hiding from me?!"

"Conqueror's Haki was bad enough—and now you're swinging a sword like you've been doing it for years!"

"Good brat. You actually fooled your grandpa."

"If you don't give me a satisfying explanation…"

Garp cracked his fist, veins popping, expression savage.

"…I'll let you taste a Fist of Love."

Nearby, Bogard also looked over—curious, unsettled, waiting for the answer.

Even he couldn't make sense of it.

Raifeng's grip, stance, movement—

Everything looked like someone who had trained with a sword for over a decade.

But Raifeng was only seven.

Even if he started training in the womb, it shouldn't be this polished.

Bogard's brows twitched—

Then suddenly, as if a thought struck him—

He froze.

"Wait…"

His eyes widened in shock as he stared at Garp.

"Vice Admiral Garp… what did you just say?"

He finally processed a key phrase.

Conqueror's Haki?

…What?

Was he hallucinating?

"Raifeng's swordsmanship is already abnormal…"

"And he also possesses… Conqueror's Haki?!"

Bogard's mind exploded.

He stared at Raifeng like he was looking at something that shouldn't exist in reality.

That was Conqueror's Haki—

The kingly disposition only one in a million people had.

And a seven-year-old had it?!

Bogard felt his worldview cracking at the seams.

Everything he'd seen today was too absurd.

Too outrageous.

Too… impossible.

Finally, after forcing himself to breathe, Bogard muttered helplessly:

"Vice Admiral Garp… your whole family is a pack of monsters."

"And your grandson Raifeng…"

"He's a monster among monsters."
