Yuichi returned to the platform above Sky Island, surrounded by Whitebeard and the others.
Big Mom looked displeased. Although Yuichi's victory was good for their world, she had lost her bet, so she could only sit and sigh.
Shanks observed Yuichi carefully. The boy's abilities were getting weirder. That sword, the sudden flame... was it a Devil Fruit? If not, what was it?
Yuichi ignored their stares, focused entirely on the system interface before him.

While Yuichi was lost in thought, a roar from the light curtain snapped him back to reality.
"What were you thinking about just now?" Whitebeard asked.
"Nothing much," Yuichi replied perfunctorily, looking up.
The battle was continuing.
Even though the Pirate World had secured three wins, locking in the victory, the fights weren't over. The fourth battle was starting.

In the projection, Onoki appeared not as the floating old man everyone knew, but in his prime—black hair and full of vitality.
Prime Onoki...
Yuichi watched with interest. The continuation of the fights suggested that the "World War" wasn't just about survival. The System had mentioned a "Special Reward" for winners.
It seemed the goal was to select the absolute best individuals from both worlds, regardless of which world won the war.
If the purpose was to gather the strongest... then for what?
Yuichi stared at the massive light curtain, his mind racing.
