In the previous chapter, we saw that Yash finally learns the truth—that his family members are not real, but something else entirely.
Now, trembling with fear, Yash looks at his parents and asks in a shaky voice,
"Who… who are you people really?"
In response, his mother and father slowly step toward him and say,
"We… we are your mom and dad. Can't you see?"
As soon as he says this, Yash's father suddenly lifts his own head in his hands.
Seeing this sight, Yash is completely stunned. His breath feels stuck in his chest.
At the same time, on the other side, Yash's mother—who had a demon hiding inside her—reveals her true, horrifying form and says in a terrifying voice,
"Look… now tell me—who am I?"
Slowly, Yash's father, his little brother, and his twin sisters also begin transforming one by one into their demonic forms.
Seeing all this, Yash is utterly terrified.
Then the demons grab Yash and take him to another dimension.
The moment Yash sees that place, his fear multiplies.
That world is extremely strange and horrifying—
somewhere, someone is killing and eating another;
somewhere else, someone is chasing someone down.
Yash stands completely frozen in place.
Then one demon steps forward and says,
"Do you know? Everything you saw… everything you felt… was real. Every single thing."
Hearing this, Yash thinks for a moment, then starts laughing like a madman and says,
"No… this can't be true! I'm alive. And I can't possibly die again and again! This has to be some kind of delusion…"
Yash keeps muttering all this like a man who has lost his sanity.
Then the demon says in a cold, arrogant voice,
"Hmph… you are a mere human. You know nothing about the world. Come, I'll explain it to you in simple terms."
The demon continues:
"The world you see is not what it actually is. Beyond it, there are countless worlds, and every world has its own god. Even those gods have different ranks.
But I don't think you're capable enough yet to understand the ranking of gods, so I'll only tell you what you need to know.
This universe also has a god—but compared to other gods, he is quite weak.
That's why he absorbs human negative energy as his source of power, even though doing so is strictly forbidden for any god.
That's why he took the help of our world—the demon realm—so he could harvest human negative energy without alerting other gods.
He sends human souls to the demon world, where we consume them to increase our power.
And yes… you are extremely special to that god.
Because since childhood, you were his greatest devotee. You carried immense love for the gods within you.
Whenever that god killed you and your family again and again and showed you those scenes, the rage and negative energy that rose inside you were so immense that by absorbing it, that god's power multiplied many times over.
Every time a member of your family died, 10% of their soul went to the demon realm, while the remaining soul returned to this world.
This cycle kept repeating.
And because of you, the god of this world has now become incredibly powerful."
Hearing this, Yash cries out,
"No… this can't be true. If that were the case, how could you take over my family's bodies?
I know it… this is all a dream. I'll wake up any moment now."
He says all this while crying uncontrollably.
In response, the demon laughs and says,
"Oh? You still think that?
Because we have completely taken over your family's bodies.
So now hear the full truth—
your mother's soul was the weakest, so we entered her body first.
Then, one by one, we killed your entire family and sent their souls to the demon realm.
They haven't been completely erased yet.
About 30% of the process is still remaining.
Only after that will it be decided which demon will fully absorb their souls."
The moment Yash hears this, a red, smoke-like substance slowly begins to seep out of his body—
it is his negative energy.
As soon as that energy leaks out, at that very moment, the god in another realm senses it.
"This is Yash's negative energy."
He immediately uses his divine senses to search for it and discovers Yash's current location.
Meanwhile, Yash's anger has reached its absolute peak.
His negative energy has become terrifyingly dangerous.
The demon says,
"Look at that… you're releasing such dangerous energy now that even that god will realize you're nearby.
He'll be coming very soon…"
Just then, tearing through the dimension, a black shadow descends from above and merges directly into Yash's body.
Yash's body collapses onto the ground.
For a full ten seconds, nothing happens.
Then suddenly, Yash's body stands up.
He begins floating in the air.
Yash covers his face with his hand and starts laughing loudly.
His laughter is so terrifying that the entire dimension begins to crack and shatter.
Seeing this, all the demons scream in fear,
"Who… who are you?!"
In response, Yash slowly removes his hand from his face and says,
"Your death."
All the demons look at Yash and instantly realize—someone else has taken over his body.
They all prepare to fight him, but Yash looks up at the sky and says,
"You're trying to find me, but I won't let that happen. Don't worry—when I feel like it, I'll tell you my location myself."
All of these words directly reach the god who had located Yash.
But suddenly, Yash completely disappears.
The god sends a small fragment of himself near the place where Yash was last detected, and Yash becomes visible again in that direction.
The god says,
"Such dangerous energy… I never thought I'd encounter someone like this in a lower world.
No matter. Perhaps you people provoked him.
Very well—I'll kill you all and finish avenging this child."
Saying this, he points his finger at a demon and fires a laser-like attack.
That demon is erased right before everyone's eyes.
But none of the demons can see this happening.
They all charge toward Yash at once.
Their attacks hit Yash—but not even a scratch appears on him.
Yash says calmly,
"That wasn't fun… now die."
With a single slash, he kills three demons at once.
At that moment, the god's small fragment manifests in the dimension and says,
"Enough. You've crossed the line.
If you do anything more, I'll come here in my real body and destroy you myself."
Yash replies,
"Oh, so you finally found me. Not bad—you do have some skill."
But suddenly, Yash's body moves on its own, rushes behind the god, grabs him by the throat, and destroys him completely.
The god vanishes and, back in his own world, says,
"Who is it… who completely erased my fragment?"
And the being that had taken over Yash's body thinks to itself,
"How did this body move on its own without my will…
and how did it kill that lesser god?"
