On the hill.

Several Konoha Genin teams were quiet.

In their battle across the river with Kumogakure, another six Ninjas were killed.

Many more were injured.

Obito bit the bandage on his arm and tied it tight, looking around. He still hadn't seen Kakashi and Akira Tsubaki.

"Don't look for them anymore, they must be on a secret mission," Anko reminded in a low voice.

"They must have sneaked into the Land of Hot Water," Rin guessed.

At this moment, Ibiki Morino and Hayate Gekkō (Hayate Gekko) walked over.

"Have you seen Yūgao?" Hayate Gekkō asked with a worried expression.

Seeing that no one answered, his worry increased.

In fact, many teams had guessed that the joint cross-river attack was most likely a feint to cover a sneaking team.

Suddenly!

Mitarashi Anko stood up abruptly and rubbed her eyes vigorously.

She saw a mushroom cloud in the eastern sky.

"Look! Look to the east!"

As Anko shouted, others looked over.

A mushroom cloud was slowly rising into the sky, indicating a large explosion to the east.

"Boom~Boom~"

A dull sound, like muffled thunder, passed over the field.

"Did Akira Tsubaki and the others do it?" Obito's eyes lit up, and he exclaimed in surprise.

"Such a huge mushroom cloud—it's likely Akira Tsubaki and the others blew up Kumogakure's supply station," Ibiki Morino clenched his fists excitedly.

"Yūgao should also be in the team," Hayate Gekkō added, proud of Yūgao.

"I'll ask Sensei!" Rin sprinted all the way.

When she reached the side of the hill, she saw Minato-sensei also looking at the mushroom cloud.

"This scale, it seems Kumogakure's supply station was very large…" Namikaze Minato looked at the eastern sky and made a judgment.

"This good news, it's time to share it with these people."

Since the morale of several teams was low, it was the perfect time to announce the good news.

Glancing at Rin, Namikaze Minato walked in front of the assembled teams.

His appearance instantly attracted everyone's attention.

On the hill.

Sweeping past the dozen or so Genin, Namikaze Minato cleared his throat.

"Ninjas, our attack was not in vain, and the Ninjas who died in battle were not sacrificed in vain!"

As he spoke, he pointed to the mushroom cloud behind him.

"See, that's what our infiltration team did! They successfully blew up Kumogakure's supply depot!"

"Everyone's efforts were meaningful!"

Following Namikaze Minato's words, the morale of the teams soared.

"Minato-senpai! I heard that the infiltrating team also included the Dead Last, Akira Tsubaki…" Ebisu stood up, seemingly puzzled that Akira Tsubaki could join the mission.

"Huh? The Dead Last?" Namikaze Minato shook his head.

Then he said: "Many of you think Akira Tsubaki is the Dead Last, but I tell you now, he is not! He is a Ninja who is even more talented than Kakashi."

"What?"

"Akira Tsubaki is a genius?"

"He isn't the Dead Last?"

"Impossible! This is absolutely impossible."

A group of people couldn't believe it.

Especially Might Guy.

He clearly remembered that Akira Tsubaki's grades were worse than his own in the Ninja Academy. How did he become a genius overnight?

"It seems you still don't quite believe it," Namikaze Minato smiled.

He could understand their mood.

Akira Tsubaki had a two-year Ninja Academy career where he consistently held the bottom position. It was hard to believe he was suddenly a powerhouse.

It's like your neighbor is a beggar, but one day someone tells you that your neighbor is actually a billionaire. You won't believe it.

To reverse their perception, Namikaze Minato dropped an explosive message.

"Akira Tsubaki's Taijutsu attainment has reached the Jōnin level! And in one mission, he killed a Special Jōnin with a single blow!"

"Taijutsu?"

"I see!"

"He's such a lazy guy, yet he secretly practices Taijutsu?"

Compared to the astonishment of others, Might Guy clenched his fists, his eyes sparkling.

"It turns out that Akira Tsubaki, like me, practices Taijutsu!"

This explained everything. After all, the guy's Ninjutsu assessments were all zeros.

Seeing the group's morale skyrocket, Namikaze Minato spoke again.

"Everyone, hurry up and deal with the wounded, because soon, we may have to deal with the enemy!"

On the mountainside a few kilometers away from the explosion site.

Akira Tsubaki, Kakashi, and Yūgao Uzuki gathered together.

"Kakashi, I'll leave the dinner preparation to you."

"Yūgao, go to the foot of the mountain and bring some water up."

Akira Tsubaki finished assigning the tasks and lay down on a rock.

Kakashi and Yūgao Uzuki were left facing each other.

"Wait a minute, Akira! Shouldn't we go back right now?" Kakashi reminded him.

The supply station has been blown up. What are we still doing here?

If Kumogakure's main force arrives, the three of them will certainly be found.

"Yes, we can go back for dinner," Yūgao Uzuki also chimed in.

Hearing them, Akira Tsubaki narrowed his eyes.

"Go back? Why do you want to go back? I didn't plan to go back when I came out this time!"

This!!!

Kakashi looked serious.

Yūgao Uzuki's face was blank.

"Akira, don't you want to stay here and continue to destroy Kumogakure's supply line?" Kakashi couldn't believe it.

"Yeah, that's exactly what I thought," Akira Tsubaki nodded.

Since he was destroying the supply chain, he had to see it through to the end. What good was destroying it once? Kumogakure would rebuild quickly. If you want to destroy it, destroy it permanently.

"That's not an option," Kakashi shook his head.

"Oh? Why not?"

"This time it succeeded mainly because Kumogakure lacked defenses! Next time, they will certainly set up traps around."

Kakashi knew Akira Tsubaki was fast. But once Kumogakure set up Detonating Tag traps around the area, Akira Tsubaki's speed advantage would be neutralized.

On the stone, Akira Tsubaki sat up.

He glanced at Kakashi, then at Yūgao Uzuki, and said, "You two go back. I'll stay here by myself!"
