It has been a week since it was early from what we could tell. Charles was looking at Rot's fang he had. I had not seen it for a week. Charles was intent on looking at it if it was going to tell him something. "This will be the last time to kill Lobo." Charles said as he put the fang into his pocket.
"Let's hope your training has paid off." I said as he nodded with a small frown.
"Well we have been preparing for this. Me, Gabriel, Argent, Fulgur, Flambé and Rachel will handle Fang Lord. Ash, Rein, Abel, Shadow and Niuhi will kill the matirach." Charles said with a smile.
"Were was Shadow during that meeting." I forgot to ask where Shadow was.
"He saw many wolves acting like scouts; he chased them down and killed them." Charles said. As we were walking with our group. There were about fourteen members. Not including myself.
"Do you remember the plan?" Gabriel asked.
"Yeah, kill your target before moving on the minions." Charles said.
"There should be about 3,000 wolves in total. Make sure to have an area of effect to kill the grunts quickly." Rein said with a smile.
"Also after all this is done we can divide the loot among ourselves." Charles said.
"You got everything you need. Your plan to kill him has been set." Rein said.
"Thanks for making that stuff for me." Charles said. As we see piles of massive bones. A deep bellowing fog seemed to strangle us. Everyone did not seem scared. Hearing a crunch below us. Charles lifted his foot and saw a human skull.
"Are these?" Fulgur asked.
"Yeah. Human bones." Gabriel said as they continued to walk forward a hill of countless skulls. Human skull. Some were fresh with blood and flesh still attached; the smell was sickening. It smelled of copper and rotting flesh.
"I wonder how many died?" Ash asked. He looked almost as if he had hate in mind. As we started walking around. As I heard splashing it was a crimson puddle of blood. Coating Charles boot in crimson.
"Too many we end this fight today. Seven Fang Lord will die." Charles promised.
"They hunt us. We hunt them. We can't coexist with them." Gabriel spoke. As a chorus of howls ripped through the air. The group tensed.
"What is all the noise about?" Leo asked as no one seemed to have an answer.
"I have no clue but let's see what it is about." Fulgur said his voice was barely above a whisper.
"Let's split up and make sure to kill your targets." Niuhi said, already having a bloodthirsty grin. As we saw a clearing with countless wolves.
"Wow there are a lot of them." Leo said.
"Phantom Cloak." Charles said as we both walked straight past all the wolves. Some of their eyes rise but quickly going back down most of them were munching on bones.
"It's strange, has anyone heard from Seer!" A voice called out. Lobo felt stronger than ever.
"No Sir!" One of the outer wolves yelled. As Lobo snarls and enters the cave. As me and Charles follow behind. Lobo seemed angry.
"First my personal guard went missing." Lobo grumbled. Lobo personal guards were killed by Charles over the week. To glimpse any information he could.
"What's wrong?" Another Werewolf asked Lobo. As he stops.
"Something feels off." Lobo spoke.
"Like what sir?" The Werewolf was still asking a following question.
"Something." Lobo said, looking right at us. Before he started to walk away again. Did he see us? No way Phantom Cloak is a great stealth skill. Lobo takes a sharp right turn. We followed. Then followed by a left. It seemed he was walking quite fast.
"Good morning." A wolf said. He was walking past Lobo. The wolves seemed to respect him for some reason. As he took another turn he looked behind himself again. Before took a breath and turned back to his path.
"Maybe I am going insane but I feel like I am being followed." Lobo said.
"Grandpa!" I heard some wolf pups were young and small. I felt Charles tense as he was gripping his hand quite hard.
"We miss you grandpa, maybe later you can tell us a bedtime story!" Another one of the pups said. He sounded excited.
"Maybe later but I have a place to be." Lobo told him gently patting their head.
"Where did you have plans?" The first pup asked his grandfather.
"I do now." Lobo said as he let out a sigh, stood up and started walking again.
"Why is the scary Devil man here?" The second pup asked the massive Werewolf. Lobo stopped again and looked back at his grandson.
"Don't worry I will handle him." Lobo said as he stared at where we were again. He had to see us. There is no way that was a coincidence. But again he continued to walk. Without a care in the world. Lobo opens massive doors as he smiles back at us. As he walks to a ring made out of Ice tusk skulls. "You can come out Charles." He said without looking back.
"So you knew I was here how?" Charles asked.
"You think I would not recognize my dead wife's scent that is quite bold of you." Lobo said as he turned around with a smile on his face.
"I have a few gifts for you." Charles said as he reached into left pocket. And throw out several teeth. "It is the withdrawal of your personal guard." Charles' smile was completely mad.
"So you're the one who killed them?" Lobo asked but it did not sound like a question.
"Yeah so what? I saw the mountain of skulls so we're even." Charles said as I took to the air. To stay out of the battle between the two.
"Looks like you changed." Lobo stated. Looking Charles up and down. As Lobo charged at Charles.
"Phantom Possession." Charles' smile grew even wider Lobo was inches away from Charles. The teeth were thrown on the ground shot up like bullets. Piercing into Lobo skin red blood drips slowly out of them.
"Smart move." Lobo commented as he punched at Charles. He ducts under the fist but then the fist opens and claws down. Charles jumps back but a small gash on his leg was there.
"This is going to be hard." Charles said. As he charged at Lobo. Trying to land an axe kick. Lobo grabs the leg and then swiftly turns around and slamming Charles into the snowy ground. Then was smashed into the ground again then again. Charles lands a kick on the wrist of Lobo breaking it allowing him to land on his feet a few steps away from Lobo. Lobo wrist healed with a snapping sound.
"Good as new." Lobo taunted with a beastal smile on his face. Once again Lobo charges at Charles. Charles also charges. Lobo landed his claws on Charles' arm but the scales deflected the attack. But Charles was able to slash Lobo near his left eye.
"Damn it." Charles cursed that he was aiming for Lobo's left eye.
"You're really trying to gouge out my eye." Lobo laughed. Why was he trying to get Charles angry?
"Phantom Possession." Charles said as Lobo suddenly stopped laughing.
"How?" Lobo asked as Charles smirked.
"If you get me a second to breathe then those teeth will get closer to your major organs, something you can't regenerate." Charles spoke.
"Okay then." Lobo said as suddenly he stood up again and charged. Almost ripping off Charles' throat. That was close.
"Your acting skills are quite impressive." Charles said as he dodged another slash. Duct under the second one. Charles slashed at Lobo's chest. Lobo jumped back. Charles smirked as Lobo once again charged in. As Charles goes to gouge out Lobo left eye again. Lobo rolls his head. Charles' hand pierced Lobo's shoulder. But then Lobo sucker punched Charles, knocking him away. He landed on his back on the snowy ground.
"Die!" Lobo howled as he stomped down on the ground. Charles was able to roll out the way. Causing a small cloud of snow to form from the impact.
"Not yet you're the one dying here." Charles said with a snarl.
"Oh really." Lobo said his bloodlust was rolling off him in waves.
"Phantom Hand." Charles said as Lobo charges at Charles. Charles ducts under the slash from Lobo claws. But then got kneed in the face causing him into the air. Followed by Lobo punching his face thrusting him into the snowy ground.
"You think that would work?" Lobo taunted.
"Yes." Charles said as a Tusk from the Ice Tusk impaled his leg. Crimson blood dripped from the wound. Charles snapped the front part off. Tried to stab Lobo. Lobo managed to dodge the stabbing attempt by jumping back.
"So that was your plan." Lobo said. Looking at the wound closely covering the tusk, it started to trap it within one of Lobo's legs.
"Yeah it so you can't use your full speed." Charles said. As he was given the chance to be back to his feet. As they stand staring at each other. Lobo charges a bit slower than before.
"You're not strong enough to kill me." Lobo said. His voice filled with pride.
"Phantom Hand." Charles said as Lobo charges as suddenly once again Charles tries to gouge out Lobo's left eye again. He barely dodged. Lobo had a scratch on his face.
"What were you focusing on Phantom Hand?" Lobo asked, shocked. As Charles dodged one of his slashes again.
"A plan to get you close. I lied." Charles said with a smile he enjoyed his plan working.
"Lying really, you stunk so low." Lobo said with a fake frown.
"Watch me I will sink into the abyss to kill you." Charles said. With a glare.
"Second Fang: Lurking Fang." Lobo said, disappearing as Charles almost on instinct rolled forward. Dodging Lobo attack from behind.
"Nice try, but I have seen it before." Charles said with a smile at Lobo.
"Well then the old fashioned way then ripping you to shreds." Lobo said. As he clawed at Charles he was barely able to dodge to the side a few hairs were cut off. Lobo went for a sweeping kick. Charles jumped up to dodge the attack.
"Damn-" Charles started before he was punched into the ground by Lobo. Causing a plume of snow to cover the small area.
"Looks like I got you." Lobo taunted as he laughed. As Lobo landed multiple hits his hands were bloody with Charles blood. After the seventh hit something felt. As I saw a large Great Tusk tooth flying at his left eye he had to dodge out of the way. By crouching as I heard a wet swishing sound. As Lobo jumped away. His left eye was closed bleeding profusely.
"Looks like I got your eye." Charles said his face was bloody. But his fingers were also covered in blood. He held an eye out for Lobo but then suddenly crashed, sending splattering everywhere.
"You really took all that damage for a simple eye?" Lobo was shocked. As Charles' wounds started to close his face was fixed.
"Yes." Charles said with pride in his voice.
"You're insane." Lobo said.
"But you're down an eye. Everyone is a little insane." Charles said psychotic.
"You're totally insane." Lobo countered.
"Phantom Hand." Charles said the second the word left his mouth Lobo charged. As Charles smiles. As his head looked left. This made Charles smile widened for a second. As the bones flew at him from the right. Hitting the side of his body and neck. Followed by a knee to the face by Charles.
"Interesting, you clearly made a plan. Sadly it will not be enough to kill me." Lobo bousted as the bones slowly fell to the ground as he regenerated. His left eye or what was left of it was spilling blood like a waterfall.
"But it will. We will kill you and the wolves." Charles said with violence dripping from his voice.
"Well then." Lobo said.
"What? You're finished." Charles said, taking a step closer.
"Noble Phantasm." Lobo said as a blob form and quickly took shape into a wolf. Then three more took form, all of them being wolves. Charles' face was frozen in shock. Lobo let out a laugh.
"How in the world?" Charles said, taking a step back. Looking at Noble Phantasm with betrayal.
"I ate Jackal, consuming all his knowledge on his skill and yours." Lobo said with a smile on his face now. He let out a small laugh.
"Well then." Charles said with a low growl. As the first Phantasm charges forth. He was able to dodge it but then suddenly it blew up. Charles grounded his feet into the ground.
"Second Fang: Lurking Fang." Lobo said as he appeared behind Charles landing a X like slash on his back. Before kicking him into the other two Phantasm. That quickly blew up.
"Damn it." Charles said. His eyes looked feral at Lobo. As they once again charged at each other. As Lobo raises one of his claws above his head.
"Fifth Fang: Crushing Fang." Lobo said as his claws slammed the ground missing Charles by mere centimetres. Charles claws at Lobo noise but he manages to jump back.
"So close." Charles said. Looking a little disappointed in himself. But his frown quickly reformed into a smile. As he pushes his advantage. Slashing at Lobo face. Lobo keeps dodging. Suddenly Lobo lunges forward grabs Charles and then slamming him into the ground. Was now sitting on his waist.
"Fifth Fang: Crushing Fang." Lobo raised his claw above his head slamming down like a guillotine. As it hit something a small cloud of snow formed. It was barely missed. He was able to roll his head out of the way. Lobo growled and jumped back.
"Wonder how you missed?" Charles questioned with a smile on his face.
"I was sure I hit you." Lobo said.
"Well you see Phantom Hand works on more than non living things but living things too. So I moved your hand so it would miss." Charles said.
"You risk your life off a chance I would miss?" Lobo said with a smile. Charles seemed odd.
"Yes, that's the point I always have a plan for you." Charles said his voice was eerie.
"What is that?" Lobo asked.
"Death." Charles answered.
"First Fang: Lunging Fang." Lobo howled as appeared in front of Charles. Stabbing through his chest. Blood spilled out as Charles smiled. He laughed but the sound came from somewhere else. Lobo had many bleeding wounds.
"Looks like you found the way out of the illusion." Charles said as he appeared standing on the right edge of the ring. As the fake Charles faded from existence.
"How long was I under?" Lobo questioned. As Charles shows him one thing, his left eyes as he drops it and stomps on it. Splatter it onto its surroundings.
"For quite a while now." Charles said.
"You bastard!" Lobo howled at Charles. He started charging at Charles. Charles was able to dodge the slash from Lobo.
"Why so mad?" Charles questioned as he deflected the blow into hitting the ground hard. Once again Charles was smiling.
"Why are you smiling?" Lobo as I saw a Phantasm behind him, one that belonged to Charles. As it exploded knocking Lobo forward into Charles clawed hand. Lobo was on his back but he quickly jumped back up again. Both of them were wearing smiles that did not reach their eyes. Both of their eyes held nothing but murder.
"Now look at who is smiling." Charles taunted. Once again they charged at each other.
"Only one of leaves." Lobo said as Charles dodged his attack of his claw. Lobo blocked the punch from Charles. They seemed almost evenly matched in physical strength. I wonder what their plan is.
"That will be me." Charles said as he went gritting against the ground Charles was pushed back.
"Show me that infinite malice that makes you human." Lobo said.
"With pleasure." Charles said as both of them clashed again. Charles blocked Lobo swipe with his forearm. As he lands a slash on his chest. It slowly started to close as Lobo looked a little confused. Charles' grin turns absolutely feral.
"What the hell is happening?" Lobo asked if he was confused as the wound finally closed.
"You know you're quite the monster. Finally the drug kicked in." Charles spoke with an insane laugh at the end.
"What do you mean?" Lobo asked, clearly annoyed. He let out a small snarl.
"The drug was made just for you. It slows your regeneration. But it also makes you more sluggish. Quite the things that Rein made to kill." Charles said. As his smile widened.
"You think I will be done with a mere drug?" Lobo dangerously asked the question.
"No, it made you weaker so I can kill you." Charles answered as he crackled his knuckles. The scales seemed to spread just a small bit.
"You think you're going to be able to kill me." Lobo said he let out a prideful laugh.
"Yes I believe that I will kill you." Charles said. "My eyes will see your last breath." He said. As they once again charged at each other to kill the other.
"Third Fang: Stabbing Fang." Lobo arm shot like a gun shot. Charles barely dodged having a cut on his cheek. Blood dripped down his cheek. Charles punched Lobo in the throat.
"Can you finally die?" Charles said as he jumped back. As Lobo swipes at him. Charles jumped back.
"First Fang: Lunging Fang." Lobo said as he appeared in front of Charles. His swiping down caused a shallow cut on Charles' chest. It could have been much worse. Blood left the wound.
