Chapter 3 - Chapter 3: Does Justice Truly Exist in This World?

Many admired the depth of their love. Yet among people, there are always those driven by envy and malice. Vard, Umar's younger brother, could not accept that Umar had become the king of Kusuful Shams.

"Why Umar?" he raged within himself. "Being the eldest son alone should not be reason enough to sit on the throne. I am stronger than him—so why did Amira marry him? All of this is Amira's doing. If she had not agreed to this marriage, if she had not constantly supported Umar, it would not be that foolish Umar sitting on the throne today—it would be me."

These thoughts gave Vard no peace. Alas, the more a person clings to this world, the more they forget that it is, in truth, a world of trials.

Such a trial also came upon Amira. She lost her first love, the only man she had ever loved—Umar. He was martyred during a battle against the *Yahod*. Umar left Amira alone with their two children: a son, Yaqoud, and a daughter, Feroza.

On the night the news reached her, Amira spent long hours in prayer, weeping before Allah.

"O Allah, my lawful husband, the father of my children, the protector of an entire nation—place my husband Umar among the people of Paradise. Accept the plea of a weak servant like me. Thank You for granting me such happiness, for allowing me to meet such a merciful soul, and for making him my lawful companion.

O Alloh, You granted me love in this world, and You have taken it back. I beg You—after my death, return him to me once more. Grant that in the Hereafter, I may spend eternity by his side. Ameen."

Amira's mourning did not last long. For the sake of her people, she took up the battle against the *Yahod* in her husband's place. The war dragged on for a long time, and through her strategic wisdom and mastery of combat, Amira defeated countless enemy soldiers and several powerful commanders.

Some time after the battles, Amira sent a letter to the king of the *Yahod*.
