In every country, every town, every house, there is a kid who has read or listened to the stories of witches, of a great hero slaying a devil and saving the princess, or of a brave warrior killing a dragon to save the world. They have also heard about a magical world, where they can do whatever they want. Or they have the power to control nature.
Well, as a kid grows, they don't just listen, they think, they imagine. And not just them; everyone in society thinks of a world where they have the power to achieve something.
A king would think of making his treasures big through magic, a mason would think of cutting big stones and make sculptures, and a builder would use magic to create great buildings. A sword maker would think of a sword that only the chosen ones can wield.
Of course, not everyone thinks well. A tyrant may think of new ways to make his enemies suffer. A greedy person would think of new ways to make his pockets heavy. A killer would think of new methods to eliminate its targets. A lustful man would imagine beautiful women.
The list continues, and there is no limit to what one can imagine or dream. Everyone believes that if they had magical powers and the ability to control the world and the universe, they would make the world a better place. The kingdoms would flourish, and the poor would have enough to eat. But many overlook the fact that greed still exists.
They think What if they could do that? What if they could control water? Earth? Air? Imagination exceeds the limits of reality that a human mind can comprehend.
And if they are really given that power?
Everyone thinks of a happy beginning and a good ending.
But reality is the polar opposite of it.
And so begins the story of a world whose dreams were heard by the heavens, and the true essence of humanity was revealed.
