Chapter 450 - Chapter 450 Exposed

"Druig!"

Ajak let out a cry of alarm.

She rushed forward, her hands glowing with a golden healing light as she pressed them against the fatal wound on Druig's chest, doing her best to sustain his fading life force.

After a brief moment of shock, a powerful surge of energy erupted within the warehouse.

Golden geometric lines lit up on everyone, and their Eternal suits instantly covered their bodies.

With a wave of his hands, Phastos sent several golden energy rings flying, which quickly assembled into a complex containment device in mid-air, heading straight for Ikaris.

"You've lost your mind, Ikaris!" Phastos roared.

Golden energy exoskeletons lit up on Gilgamesh's arms as he charged toward Ikaris like a heavy tank.

Tina wiped her hands together, and a golden sword and shield materialized.

She leapt gracefully, aiming directly at Ikaris's vital points.

Makkari also turned into a golden afterimage, darting back and forth in front of Ikaris, delivering minor impacts.

Kingo, however, did not join the fight. He quickly retreated and hid in a remote corner.

He quietly pointed a hidden miniature camera at the battlefield, faithfully recording everything.

At this moment, although Ikaris held the aerial advantage and moved nimbly through the air, he was clearly struggling to keep up under the group's onslaught.

He could only retaliate by frantically firing golden energy beams from his eyes.

Sprite watched the others besiege Ikaris, gritted her teeth, and formed hand seals.

Over a dozen illusions of Ikaris appeared out of thin air, confusing everyone's vision.

Their attacks missed one after another, striking only the illusions.

But Sprite's goal wasn't just interference.

She targeted Tina, whose mental state had been unstable.

Illusions formed around Tina.

In Tina's vision, a destroyed Planet appeared.

Blood rain fell from the sky, and countless hideous Deviants lunged at her with gaping maws. Fallen Eternal companions wailed at her feet.

"No... don't..." Tina clutched her head and screamed in agony.

"Tina!" Gilgamesh noticed her distress and turned to shout.

But it was too late; the Mahd Wy'ry was triggered by Sprite's illusions.

Tina's eyes lost their pupils, and like a mindless killing machine, she began attacking everyone around her indiscriminately.

"Damn it!" Gilgamesh was forced to abandon the attack on Ikaris.

He rushed forward to block Tina's attacks and used his strength to hold her tightly, constantly trying to soothe her.

"Tina, look at me! Remember who you are!"

The battle fell into a state of chaos and stalemate.

Powerful cosmic energy surged throughout the enclosed space.

The already dilapidated abandoned warehouse could not withstand such high-intensity destruction.

Huge cracks appeared in the walls.

*Rumble—*

Loud snapping sounds echoed from all sides of the warehouse.

Suddenly, the entire roof lost its support and, along with steel beams and collapsing walls, came crashing down toward everyone.

"Watch the roof!" Kingo, who was filming nearby, shouted urgently.

It looked as if everyone was about to be buried alive.

Sersi quickly jumped to a high point and raised her hands, unleashing her matter transmutation ability to its full extent.

*Whoosh—*

The moment it touched Sersi's palms, the entire roof and most of the warehouse disintegrated in mid-air, turning into a rain of red petals.

Drifting in the breeze, they scattered and covered the entire battlefield ruins.

The battle came to a brief halt due to this sudden turn of events.

Everyone stopped what they were doing and watched the petals dancing in the air.

As the petals cleared, the view opened up.

The scene outside the warehouse also came into their view.

But when the Eternals saw what was outside, they were all stunned.

They were in a remote, abandoned warehouse.

Usually, even homeless people wouldn't come to such a secluded place.

But now, less than twenty meters away, rings of police tape and barriers had been set up.

Outside the barriers were swarms of media reporters carrying cameras and equipment.

News vans filled the surrounding streets.

Blinding flashes formed a sea of light, and the sound of shutters was like heavy rain as they frantically photographed the group in strange costumes amidst the petals.

Inside the barriers stood a line of Superheroes in colorful uniforms, maintaining safety and order.

Standing at the very front was a man with hands on his hips, wearing a dark blue bodysuit and a stars and stripes cape.

It was the God Among Men, Homelander, who had been in the spotlight.

At that moment, a reporter in a leather jacket was delivering an impassioned live broadcast to the camera.

"Viewers! This is VNN Breaking News! I'm your field reporter, Eddie Brock!"

"Just moments ago, through Vought Media's exclusive live signal, we learned of a shocking conspiracy!"

"Another massive threat attempting to destroy the World has surfaced! A terrifying entity known as 'Arishem the Judge' actually intends to tear our Earth apart!"

"And this group behind me calls themselves the Eternals, alien beings who came to Earth seven thousand years ago."

"They clearly have serious disagreements over whether to save the Earth, which has led to a violent internal conflict!"

The host turned and pointed the camera at Homelander.

"But please, do not panic! Do not be afraid! Because our God Among Men, Homelander, and Vought's Superheroes have the situation under control!"

"We look forward to a more detailed interview with Mr. Homelander shortly!"

The Eternals in the ruins looked at each other, surveying their surroundings in a daze.

"Humans... how can they be here?" Ikaris frowned deeply.

Only one of them was not surprised by the sudden situation.

That person was Kingo.

Ignoring his companions' stunned looks, he walked straight to the reporters and expertly found the best camera angle.

Before the lens, Kingo stood tall with an air of righteousness, just like the great hero he played in his movies.

"Citizens of Earth, I am Kingo, also known as Kingo Jr. and Kingo III. I believe you all know my true identity now—yes, an Eternal."

"And what you just saw in the broadcast is all true! But I promise you, no matter how powerful Arishem the Judge is, I, Kingo, will crush it all!"

With that, he stepped forward and reached out his hand to Homelander.

"I will stand with the great Homelander to protect this beautiful Planet! To protect my fans!"

Homelander smiled and shook Kingo's hand.

"Well done, Kingo." Homelander faced the camera, his voice booming.

"On behalf of Earth, I thank you for your honesty. And I thank our Eternal friends for their contributions to the development of human civilization thousands of years ago. Vought will never let any enemy who threatens Earth go unpunished."
