Chapter 175 - The Warnings and the Praises

The coldly-toned warning that had just left the mouth of the King of Terror successfully rendered everyone speechless in horror. The air around them seemed to freeze along with it. The level of security and the consequences inside the artificial house felt so extreme, far exceeding even the strict security protocols of the royal palace.

"Listen carefully to the layout!" Arvin continued with a loud voice, breaking the silence. "This first floor is the designated sleeping area strictly for the men. Meanwhile, the second floor is the sleeping area strictly for the women. No one should dare to cross the boundary!"

After giving a firm announcement to prevent any chaos during the night, Arvin and his four spouses turned around and walked down the hallway to enter the bathroom area.

Feeling his body very sticky after the long journey, Victor gathered his courage to be the first to follow them into the men's bathroom hallway. However, upon arriving there, Victor's footsteps halted abruptly. His eyes widened at the sight of a long corridor filled with rows of stalls, their thick wooden doors shut tightly.

"What kind of bathroom is this?!" Victor exclaimed in shock, his voice echoing loudly until it could be heard outside the hallway. "Why are there so many doors in here?"

Arvin, who was just about to open one of the doors, turned his head, staring at Victor with a flat expression.

"It's better to have it partitioned like this, right?" Arvin answered casually. "If I made it without doors and it became an open bath, wouldn't it be very dangerous?"

Without waiting for a reply from Victor, who was still gaping, Arvin walked straight into one of the bathroom stalls along with his four spouses trailing behind him.

Meanwhile, outside the bathroom stall, Victor stood frozen. He stared in awe at the dozens of individual bathroom stalls arranged very neatly inside a house that looked so small from the outside.

Hearing Victor's frantic exclamation from inside the bathroom, Dean Saires, along with the teachers and dozens of other male students, followed them inside.

Just like Victor, they were all instantly surprised and amazed by the vastness of the bathroom area they had just entered. The elongated hallway with non-slip floors, coupled with the stall doors that guaranteed privacy, caused endless praises to fill the area.

....

....

A while later, after their bodies were refreshed from bathing, Arvin's four spouses walked toward the kitchen area that had been prepared in one corner of the hall. Assisted by several male and female students who were indeed good at cooking, they began to work together to prepare dinner for the group of hundreds.

Alrain and Alvein, who had now begun to master basic cooking techniques, looked incredibly enthusiastic. The two of them deftly chopped the ingredients and were very eager to continue learning under the direct guidance of Allen and Ordion. Their goal was only one: to become the ideal spouses for their beloved husband.

The students, both boys and girls who were helping or simply watching, never expected to see the sight unfolding in the kitchen. The four spouses of a King of Terror, especially Allen and Ordion, could cook very skillfully, like royal chefs guiding their apprentices.

"Is knowing how to cook an absolute requirement to become Arvin's spouse?" asked a female student from Class 1-B, gathering her courage as she couldn't contain her curiosity.

"It is a necessity." Allen answered with a sweet, blooming smile, his hands never stopping as he sautéed the vegetables and meat in the large pan. "Arvin really loves the food made directly by us. Simply by enjoying our cooking, he can feel very happy."

Allen glanced briefly at his friends. "And his happiness is the source of happiness for the four of us."

Allen's sincere words were immediately reinforced by firm nods from Alrain, Ordion, and Alvein. Warm smiles were etched on their faces.

That interesting and sweet fact about the feared King of Terror successfully left the students astounded. The human side of Arvin, who deeply appreciated simple things from his spouses, shifted their perspective slightly.

"Then... is the rumor true? Is Arvin really planning to marry eight people?" asked a second-year male student, trying to confirm the biggest rumor in the academy.

"Yes, you are right!" Allen answered again without hesitation. "Unfortunately, we also still don't know who the next people he will make his spouses will be."

"Does he never say anything or give any hints to the four of you about who the next candidate is?" chimed in a third-year female student, leaning her body forward out of curiosity.

Allen chuckled softly and then shook his head. "Our husband is incredibly unpredictable. Take him for example!" Allen said, gently patting the shoulder of Alvein who was standing beside him. "One night, upon returning home, Arvin suddenly introduced Alvein to us as his fourth spouse."

"Seeing you so close... do you never feel jealous of each other? Or perhaps develop feelings for your fellow spouses?" the female student asked again, throwing out quite a bold question. "The four of you are exceptionally handsome. In a situation of sharing like this, usually, there will definitely be a loophole for a betrayal."

Hearing the word 'betrayal', the movement of Alrain's knife halted instantly.

"There will never be anything as ridiculous as that!" Alrain interjected suddenly. His previously friendly voice turned sharp and cold. "Our eyes and hearts only look at one person, and that is Arvin alone. But, if one day any of us dares to betray the head of the family..." Alrain stared straight at the students. "...we will kill that person with the most agonizing death."

"He is right!" Ordion chimed in, his eyes emitting a dangerous, deadly serious glint. "I will burn the traitor alive, then I will ask Allen to heal him again with recovery magic. After he is healed, I will burn him again without mercy. And keep doing it like that."

"I will not let anyone betray him!" Alvein stated firmly, gripping the handle of the ladle tightly. "Even if it happens right in front of our husband, we will still kill the traitor slowly until we are satisfied torturing them."

The brutal, murderous answers coming from the mouths of the three charming youths instantly plunged the kitchen area into a chilling silence. Not a single student dared to swallow their saliva. They just realized that the loyalty of those four youths was just as dangerous as their husband's power.

Seeing the pale faces around him, Allen finally broke the silence with a light sigh.

"You all heard it very clearly, didn't you?" Allen said, shattering the students' tension with a faint smile laden with warning. "No one in our family is allowed to cross the line. If anyone is reckless enough to commit that forbidden act, absolute death will certainly come for them."

The obsessive love and boundless loyalty of the four spouses of the King of Terror ultimately left all the students who heard it feeling both awestruck and horrified. Many silently judged that Arvin indeed did not choose his life companions carelessly.

Time continued to pass unnoticed. Dinner was over, and the night grew late. The cold air from the heavy rain outside was perfectly muffled by the building's magic. Most of the people inside the large house had fallen fast asleep in their respective spots, including Arvin and his four spouses, who slept on a large bed in the corner of the first floor.

However, in the middle of the silent night, several male and female students were still awake.

Driven by an odd curiosity, they sneaked over to approach Arvin's sleeping area. Their goal was only one: to see the face of the most feared student when he was not in intimidating mode.

They stood a few steps away from the bed, staring intently at Arvin, who was sleeping soundly with regular breathing.

"When he is asleep like this, his face looks very peaceful and calm." whispered a male student in a tone of awe. "It's undeniable, he is very handsome when he sleeps."

"You're right!" chimed in a female student who had also sneaked down from the second floor, replying with a whisper just as soft. "This is the first time in my life I've seen the King of Terror sleeping soundly. It feels like I'm willing to forgo sleep just to sit here, gazing at and stroking his face all night long."

Praise after praise about the handsome sleeping Arvin continued to be uttered in soft whispers. They endlessly gazed at the blue-haired youth lying calmly on the bed.

However, without them realizing it, one of Arvin's four spouses was not completely asleep.

Alrain, who was lying next to his husband, had been awake since the students' very first steps approaching them. He kept his eyes closed and regulated his breathing to make it seem as though he were asleep.

Hearing all the sincere whispers of admiration from the students, Alrain felt that they had no ill intentions at all toward his husband, so he decided not to chase them away and let the night pass peacefully.
