"Why are you two still standing there instead of getting into bed?" asked Arvin's sixth figure, his voice flowing low and calm, breaking the silence of the night. "It's already early morning. I need to get some rest right away because I have to leave for the Salverin region this morning."
Hearing the words of the head of the household, Calverd's mind was instantly jolted. A highly crucial realization suddenly struck him.
Didn't he just bind Oliver's soul earlier? Calverd thought, his eyes widening slightly as he realized that fact. Mustn't my husband be enduring an extraordinary amount of fatigue in his body right now?
Instantly, a strong desire not to disappoint the person he had chosen as his life partner surged within him.
Although the nervousness of sleeping in the same bed with his husband for the first time was indeed still there, slowly, the indigo-haired youth began to climb onto the soft bed, then laid himself down right on the right side of his husband's figure.
With very slow and hesitant movements, Calverd raised his hand, reaching over Arvin's body, and gathered the courage to hug his husband's body from the side.
The moment their bodies touched, Arvin could feel his spouse's rapidly beating heart.
Is he still feeling nervous? Arvin said in his heart, his eyes glancing toward his spouse. It's better if I stay still and don't take any initiative. A sudden movement from me might just cause his trauma to shake his mental state again.
"Good night, My Dawn." Calverd whispered softly, his voice slightly stifled by the nervousness that still gripped him.
"Good night to you too, Calverd." Arvin replied in a very gentle and soothing tone.
On the other side of the bed, Oliver stood completely naked, observing the interaction. He looked at his husband's figure, who was lying calmly while being hugged by Calverd from the side.
"I am your thirteenth spouse, right?" Oliver asked suddenly, a question that sounded more like a request to be reaffirmed.
Hearing the question, Arvin shifted his gaze to Oliver.
"I have already stated in front of the others that you are my thirteenth spouse!" Arvin answered without a shred of doubt. "Why are you still questioning such a certain thing to me?"
"Do you mind if I always want to sleep completely naked every time we sleep together like this?" Oliver asked back, ignoring his husband's question.
Arvin looked at the prince with an unchanging gaze, remaining calm and gentle.
"If that can make you smile happily, why not?" Arvin answered straightforwardly, providing an absolute answer that he did not mind his spouse's habits or desires in the slightest, as long as it brought them happiness.
Hearing the confirmation laden with unconditional acceptance, the smile on Oliver's lips bloomed widely. Without a second thought, he immediately climbed onto the bed and laid himself down on his husband's left side in a sideways position.
"May I hug your body?" Oliver requested.
Arvin nodded in agreement. "Just hug me so you can feel comfortable and won't get cold."
Receiving that approval, Oliver quickly pressed his body closer, slipped his arms in, and hugged his husband's body.
"Thank you very much, Lovely." Oliver whispered softly, his voice full of profound relief and happiness.
"Yes, Oliver, you're welcome." Arvin answered firmly, his voice resonating softly in the silence of the night. "As the person you have chosen to be your husband, I will always strive to provide the best for your happiness."
That promise was the most beautiful melody to Oliver. He closed his eyes, letting himself drown in the comfort by his husband's side.
"Good night, Lovely."
"Good night to you too, Oliver."
Once all twelve of his spouses had closed their eyes, Arvin immediately used his telekinesis magic to lift the blanket situated at the end of the bed, right beneath their feet. The thick fabric hovered and spread out in the air, then slowly descended to cover all of their bodies, especially Oliver's, who was sleeping completely naked, shielding them from the cold air outside the mansion.
...
...
Meanwhile, hundreds of kilometers away from Arvin's mansion, the night quietly enveloped the Holy Kingdom of Galdius territory.
Inside a spacious and luxurious bedroom, a handsome purplish-white-haired youth was fast asleep on his bed.
However, his peaceful slumber was instantly disturbed when he felt the side of his bed sink, indicating that someone had suddenly laid down next to him.
The youth furrowed his brow before finally waking up and opening his eyes, revealing his beautiful pair of golden eyes.
His expression instantly turned annoyed upon seeing the figure who had just laid down on his bed.
"Sister! Until when will you keep sleeping in my room like this?" the purplish-white-haired youth protested in an exasperated tone. "I'm not a little kid anymore!"
"I have to stay by your side until 'that man' comes to pick us up!" answered the figure, whose voice belonged to a woman. She pulled her younger brother's blanket back up. "Savin, you are my younger brother, and the duty of an older sister is to protect her little brother well!"
"You've been constantly saying 'that man, that man, and only that man' ever since you returned from your journey!" Savin retorted sharply, lazily rolling his eyes. "Can't you just clearly tell me who this man coming to pick us up is?!"
The purplish-white-haired youth with beautiful golden eyes was Savineza Arqevio Aluxien Galdius, Elenora's biological younger brother and the Third Prince of the Holy Kingdom of Galdius.
And the figure beside him, a beautiful golden-haired woman with a pair of mint-green eyes, was none other than Elenora Arqevio Aluxien Galdius, Savin's biological older sister and the Second Princess of the Holy Kingdom of Galdius.
The two of them would soon be picked up by Arvin to avoid the tragic line of death that was supposed to befall the siblings, as cruelly predestined in the original storyline of the 'BL Game: The Sign of Destiny'.
At the past, Arvin had asked Elenora to always stay close to her younger brother until he arrived to pick them up. And now, she was doing exactly what the Vedegra descendant had told her for the sake of her beloved brother's safety and security.
Hearing that statement and the sharply-toned question, Elenora was not offended in the slightest. Instead, she smiled gently at her younger brother.
"You don't need to know his name right now." Elenora said in a soft, teasing tone. "But when he arrives, I am absolutely certain that you will instantly be captivated by him. Because 'that man' is the prince figure you have always dreamed of in your head."
A faint blush instantly appeared on Savin's face, but he quickly covered it up with a fierce glare.
"You better watch out if you're lying to me, Sister! I will never forgive you if that man turns out to be nothing but your nonsense!" Savin threatened, ultimately choosing to yield to his older sister's stubbornness.
"I'm not lying to you, Savin." Elenora replied gently, lightly patting her brother's shoulder. "For now, let's go to sleep! Tomorrow morning, you have to go to the academy with me."
"Okay!" Savin answered curtly in a sharp tone. He immediately turned his body around, turning his back on his sister.
You are truly such an annoying older sister! the purplish-white-haired youth cursed annoyedly in his heart.
Despite acting sharply and indifferently toward his older sister, in truth, Savin was incredibly curious about who the true identity of 'that man' really was.
