Asgard, Royal Palace of Valaskjalf.
Upon the throne.
Odin, the All-Father, sat upright and solemn. His single eye did not flicker with its usual light of wisdom at this moment. Instead, it burned with two clusters of eerie blue fire, as if capable of freezing the soul.
Before him, a massive magic water mirror was broadcasting images of Midgard (Earth) in real-time.
In the images, the once-prosperous New York, Washington... now only remained as shocking ruins or bottomless abysses.
But this was not what angered Odin the most. What made his divine heart bleed the most was the scene floating in the Geostationary Orbit.
Several transparent energy cages hung in mid-air, as if displaying trophies of war.
Inside, his son, the warrior of Asgard, was slumped in the cage, covered in blood, like a dead dog with a broken spine.
Beside Thor were the equally miserable Steve and Antonio.
This was not just a defeat.
This was a humiliation!
A blatant humiliation to the divine authority of the entire Nine Realms!
"Frieza..."
Odin tightly gripped gungnir. The divine spear emitted a buzzing hum, as if sensing its master's immense killing intent.
"Three days..."
"He actually only gave me three days?"
"And he wants me to bring the seed of the World Tree and kneel before him?"
Boom!
A terrifying surge of divine power instantly erupted from the throne.
The massive stone pillars on both sides of the hall developed fine cracks under this pressure.
"Your Majesty!"
Heimdall knelt on one knee, his golden eyes that could see through the Nine Realms now bloodshot.
"That demon's power is too great. I saw his atrocities on the moon. With just a wave of his hand, the capital of the Inhumans was turned to ash."
"Even..."
Heimdall's voice trembled slightly.
"I cannot even see through that white skin of his to see what terrifying energy is hidden within. It is like staring into the abyss."
Odin took a deep breath, forcibly suppressing the anger in his heart.
As the All-Father, he could not lose his composure. If even he lost his composure, then Asgard would truly be finished.
"I know."
Odin's voice was low, carrying an unquestionable authority.
"That fellow named Frieza is unlike any enemy we have encountered before."
"Whether it be the Frost Giants, Surtur, or even my exiled daughter Hela..."
"Before this monster, they are all but slightly stronger ants."
Odin stood up and walked down from the throne. He came to the roots of the World Tree and stroked the shimmering trunk.
"Asgard's power alone cannot win."
This was a cruel fact but Odin had to admit it.
"But..."
Odin turned around abruptly, an unprecedented sharp light erupting from his single eye.
"This Universe does not only have Asgard. This world does not only have our group of gods."
He raised Gungnir in his hand and slammed it heavily onto the ground.
Clang!
The crisp sound of the impact turned into a ripple of divine power, instantly piercing through the barriers of dimensions.
"Heimdall!"
"Present!"
"Open the highest authorization for the Bifrost Bridge!"
"Connect to Olympus!"
"Connect to the Heavenly Court!"
"Connect to Heliopolis!"
"I want to convene a Council of Godheads!"
...
On Mount Olympus, Zeus was holding his Thunderbolt, a look of disbelief on his face.
In the Heavenly Court, the Jade Emperor set down his memorial and frowned deeply.
In Heliopolis, Ra stopped his patrol.
At this moment, the supreme rulers of all of Earth's pantheons received a top-level war warning from Asgard.
The threat named Frieza was no longer the disaster of a single race but a sharp sword hanging over the heads of all "gods".
If they did not join forces, the next ones to be displayed in cages might be them.
...
Earth, the top floor of the Frieza Tower.
Frieza was lying in his soft egg-shaped cockpit, enjoying a massage from Felicia.
"Mm..."
Frieza let out a comfortable hum.
"A little more pressure, on the left."
"Yes, Master."
Felicia, wearing that embarrassing maid outfit, served him diligently.
Although she was once a master thief, in the face of absolute power, she was now more docile than a house cat.
Just then—
Buzz!
A strange ripple suddenly swept across the entire Earth.
No.
It swept across the entire dimension.
It was the resonance of divine power, the vibration of rules.
Frieza snapped his eyes open, a hint of playfulness flashing in his scarlet pupils.
"Oh?"
He sat up and pushed Felicia aside.
"It seems that one-eyed old man is being a bit dishonest."
"Not only has he not prepared a gift of surrender but instead..."
Frieza looked at the sky outside the window.
The originally clear sky was suddenly filled with surging clouds. The clouds were forcibly torn apart, revealing the vast starry sky behind them.
And in the depths of that starry sky, countless divine lights of various colors, yet all equally powerful, were frantically converging.
That was the power of the gods.
"Oh my..."
Frieza floated out of his cockpit and walked to the floor-to-ceiling window.
Not only was there no trace of fear on his face but instead, an extremely excited and greedy smile appeared.
Like a wolf that had been hungry for three days suddenly seeing a flock of fat sheep delivering themselves to its door.
"Calling for backup?"
"I knew it, these so-called 'gods' love this trick of forming gangs."
"However..."
Frieza stuck out his tongue and licked his lips.
"This is just as well."
"It saves me from having to find them one by one."
"Since they've all gathered together..."
Frieza slowly clenched his fist.
"I'll wipe them all out in one go."
...
Asgard.
At this time, the square was no longer empty. Magnificent portals were constantly opening.
Clad in golden armor and wielding thunder, Zeus stepped out with his Olympian legion.
Stepping on auspicious clouds, the solemn and majestic Heavenly Soldiers and Generals of the Heavenly Court descended in formation.
...
It was an unprecedented sight.
This was the largest gathering of Earth's pantheons in history.
A full hundreds of thousands of "god-level" warriors filled every inch of Asgard's land. That terrifying surge of divine power converged, even causing the surrounding space to warp and collapse.
Odin stood at the very front. Beside him stood Zeus, Jade Emperor, and other God Kings.
This was their confidence.
Zeus gripped his Thunderbolt, sparks of electricity flying from his beard. "That demon... No matter how strong he is, can he possibly stand against the combined forces of all our pantheons?!"
"For glory! For survival!"
"We must eradicate this cancer!"
Odin nodded.
He took a deep breath, gathering the will of this massive army, powerful enough to destroy galaxies, at the tip of Gungnir.
Then, toward the direction of Midgard, ye issued the final ultimatum.
Boom!!!
A massive projection of divine power instantly appeared in Earth's sky. It was a gargantuan phantom of Odin, large enough to cover half the Earth.
And behind him were the angry faces of the gods filling the sky.
"Frieza!!!"
Odin's voice, like billions of thunderclaps exploding simultaneously, made the glass on Earth buzz and rattle.
"Your atrocities have enraged the gods!"
"We now officially issue you a final ultimatum!"
"Immediately release Thor and the other hostages!"
"Get out of Midgard immediately! Get out of this Universe!"
"Cripple your own power and kneel in repentance!"
"Otherwise..."
Odin pointed the long spear in his hand.
The hundreds of thousands of divine soldiers behind him let out a world-shaking battle cry at the same time.
"We shall descend upon Midgard!"
"With the combined power of the gods, we shall thoroughly strangle you! Let your soul wail eternally in the endless purgatory!"
This momentum was immense.
The survivors on Earth, looking at the sky full of gods, were all terrified and slumped to the ground.
Are these the gods?
So many gods, coming together to judge that demon?
Could they really be saved?
