Chapter 28: The Mouse-Mouse Fruit User
To be honest, Jiang Qize was a bit surprised—he hadn't expected there to be such a thing as the Block-Block Fruit. It was an incredibly overpowered ability, one that hadn't even existed in the anime of his previous life.
But seeing that such a Devil Fruit had ended up in the hands of someone like this, he couldn't help feeling it was a pity.
The Block-Block Fruit was definitely one of the "rule-type" fruits—similar to the Slow-Slow Fruit. No matter how strong an attack was, it could be blocked completely. If someone like Mihawk had eaten it, then aside from Logia-type elemental attacks, who could ever hurt him?

Kigos's eyes widened in shock when Jiang Qize exposed his weakness. That secret was something he had never told anyone—not even his partner, Timosen.

"Canglong, ram that ship—but don't destroy it."
"Raptorex, go."
His tone was calm, almost casual.
Even though Canglong was underwater, it could still hear him clearly.

A thunderous bellow shook the sea, followed by a flash of gray light streaking beneath the waves.
Camon froze for a second at the order, glancing uncertainly at Kigos. His expression wavered—he had never killed anyone before.
But now… gritting his teeth, he grabbed the fallen steel claws.

On the slavers' ship.
Timosen stared wide-eyed in disbelief as his crewmate was flattened to death by a dinosaur's tail.
He stood there, stunned for a moment, before snapping back to his senses.
"Move! Set sail! Get us out of here!" he shouted.
Boom!
Suddenly, a deafening impact shook the entire vessel. The whole ship lurched violently—men stumbled, others fell hard, clutching at whatever they could grab.
Then, a massive shadow descended from above.
BOOM!
Raptorex's enormous body crashed onto the deck, which instantly shattered under its weight, leaving a gaping hole. Half of the creature's body sank into it.
"Rooaaar!"
The beast let out a furious roar, twisting and thrashing to free itself.
Jiang Qize rolled his eyes, lightly tapping the tip of his foot on the air before landing on the deck with a thud.
The ship trembled again as Raptorex hauled itself out of the hole, shaking its huge head.
"Fire! Kill them!" Timosen bellowed, fury in his voice.
At that moment, his body began to change—sharp, oversized front teeth jutted out from his mouth; both hands grew long, gray claws; and a gray tail extended from behind him.
Then, with a blur of motion, he lunged forward like a streak of gray light straight toward Jiang Qize.
"The Mouse-Mouse Fruit, huh…" Jiang Qize narrowed his eyes, then shot forward to meet him head-on. His speed was nearly equal to Timosen's.
After fusing with Canglong, who had consumed the Speed-Speed Fruit, Jiang Qize had inherited part of that power—only about a tenth of Canglong's speed, but even that had boosted his agility enormously.
Boom!
The air shook violently as the two figures clashed and were both sent flying backward, a powerful shockwave rippling across the deck.
"Rooaaar!"
Raptorex roared, but didn't interfere with Jiang Qize's fight—it charged instead toward the slavers, ripping through them one after another.
"Ugh… that stings."
Jiang Qize glanced at his fist—thin scratches marred his skin, stinging sharply.
"Die!"
Timosen's roar came from beside him as his claws slashed through the air.
Jiang Qize bent sharply at the waist, dodging the strike, and in the same motion, snapped his leg up like a whip.
BOOM!!
His kick slammed hard into Timosen's waist, sending him flying.
Jiang Qize immediately flashed forward to pursue.
"Rooaaar!"
Meanwhile, Raptorex had already finished its rampage. Everyone who wasn't killed outright had been tossed into the sea—where plumes of crimson were already blooming across the water's surface.
