Jiang Qize opened his eyes, a streak of golden light flashing through them. His features had become even more refined, and the three thousand strands of silver hair cascading down his back drifted weightlessly, glowing faintly.
"What incredible power!"
Light burst in his eyes as he lifted his right hand and suddenly clenched his fist.

A faint burst of air rang out.

The sky darkened as a massive, sky-filling Quetzalcoatlus dove down. A blast of wind slammed into him, forcing him back half a step.
The gale burst outward, whipping up a terrifying wave of sand and dust.

The Quetzalcoatlus called again, telling him to hold on.
Its massive wings swept down hard.

A shockwave split the air.
Its enormous body shot upward like a rocket, climbing at tremendous speed.
"Holy—"
The sudden vertical ascent startled Jiang Qize. He immediately dropped flat, talon-like fingers gripping the Pterosaur's metal-like hide.
Wind roared past his ears in violent currents—yet he felt no discomfort at all, and could even keep his eyes open with ease.
