Chapter 115: Confirming the Knock-Up Stream Time

"I heard he came from the East Blue, and he's been at sea less than three months. That's right around the time we went to pick up Yasopp."

Lucky Roux, the huge round man, took a big bite of meat. A glint flashed in his tiny black eyes.

"Hahaha, that just makes it more interesting, doesn't it? The seas won't be boring from here on out."

Shanks took a drink and laughed loudly.

"Hopefully. Right now, aside from Whitebeard, everyone else has their eyes on him."

"If he can survive this, he'll have a place on these seas."

"Captain, you've got that much faith in him?"

"How about we make a bet?"

"No thanks, hahaha…"

Night.

Aboard the Dragonflame.

"Captain, this is the most experienced fisherman on Jaya Island. He says he can predict the timing of the Knock-Up Stream."

Cammon stood before Jiang Qize with an elderly man in his fifties.

"You know when the Knock-Up Stream appears?"

Wearing a white fur coat, Jiang Qize sat on the sofa, face cold and sharp as he looked at the old man.

Dressed in filthy rags, hair a mess, reeking of alcohol, the old man kept his head down, staring nervously.

"I—I know, but I want money."

He stammered.

"Here's five hundred thousand."

Jiang Qize tossed out 500,000 Berries.

The old drunk's eyes lit up and he reached for the cash—only for Cammon to block him, glaring viciously.

The old man flinched.

"When is the next Knock-Up Stream?"

"Tomorrow! There'll be one tomorrow!" he blurted out.

"Tomorrow? You're sure? If you're wrong, you'll die."

Jiang Qize spoke lightly.

"Sure, I'm sure! I've lived on this island for decades. There's definitely one tomorrow."

The old drunk patted his chest with conviction.

"What time tomorrow?"

"Sometime in the morning. Nothing more specific."

"Good. You'll stay here tonight."

Jiang Qize nodded.

The old man clearly didn't want to, but the looks around him were enough to shake him to the core, and he could only nod.

Now that the timing was set, all he could do was wait.

Wait for tomorrow.

Ba Wang had already made some modifications to the Dragonflame, enough for it to reach Sky Island.

A thousand miles from Jaya Island.

A massive dog-head warship cut swiftly across the sea.

At the bow, Garp stood with his dog-head hat, looking out at the waves.

"How long until we reach Jaya Island?"

His voice was firm and commanding.

His adjutant replied, "We'll arrive tomorrow morning."

"Faster."

Garp frowned.

He had a bad feeling—like this capture would slip through his fingers.

"Yes, sir!"

The next day.

Morning.

"Vice Admiral Garp, we've reached Jaya Island."

The adjutant called from outside Garp's quarters.

Bang!

The door swung open. Garp stepped out in full vice admiral uniform, Justice cape billowing behind him.

"Is the Dragonflame Pirates' ship still there?" he asked as he walked.

"We haven't found their ship at the harbor."

"Check immediately."

Garp's tone grew heavy.

"Yes!"

The adjutant rushed off.

Garp walked to the bow. The harbor was in ruins, clear signs of a battle everywhere. People were busy cleaning up the destruction.

A few minutes later, the adjutant returned.

"Vice Admiral Garp! The Dragonflame Pirates left at dawn. They headed east. There are no islands in that direction—but that's where the Knock-Up Stream erupts."
