"Ross..."
Aria's entire body stiffened instantly as her eyes widened.
West's expression hardened slightly while they stared at each other.
Another knock came but louder this time.
"Aria?"
Her heartbeat began racing.
"…He's not supposed to be here…" she whispered.
West said nothing.
He simply slipped into the corner, ready for whatever may come.
The apartment door opened and Ross's voice echoed from the living room.
"Aria?"
His footsteps entered the apartment.

Searching...
Approaching...
Aria's breathing became uneven while West remained silent.
Ross moved closer approaching the bathroom and then the handle turned.
But it didn't open.
It was locked.
Ross knocked again right outside the bathroom door.
"Aria?"
She swallowed as her voice trembled slightly.
"…Y-Yes?"
She slowly opened the bathroom door to avoid suspicion but only slightly.
Relief immediately entered Ross's tone.
"Oh good. I thought you weren't home."
