Jayjay POV
By the time Ciel and I finished setting our things, my legs already felt like jelly.
University dorms were smaller than I imagined. The beds were narrow, the closets even worse, but somehow everything fit — just like how life always forces you to adjust.
"Okay," Ciel said, clapping her hands. "Let's go find Section E."
My heart lifted instantly. "Finally."
We searched everywhere.
The cafeteria.
The study hall.
Even near the library.
Nothing.
"I swear," I muttered, rubbing my neck, "if they're hiding on purpose—"
"Entrance," Ciel said suddenly.
I looked at her. "Why?"
"They're probably either just arriving… or pretending they're already used to this place."
That sounded exactly like them.
So we headed toward the entrance, half tired, half hopeful. And the moment we reached the wide open space—
There they were.
All of them.
Standing near the security post, laughing like rules didn't exist. The boys were busy talking about the guards, the dogs, and how easy it would be to fool the system if they ever needed to.
Some things never change.
Adrian was on a video call, holding his phone casually. Valerie's face filled the screen — smiling, teasing, very Valerie.
"So this is Hamilton University security?" she said from Korea.
"I expected more."
Adrian sighed. "Valerie…"
She laughed. "Relax, I'm joking."
Her eyes suddenly widened.
"Jayjay!"
I smiled and waved without even realizing it. "Miss you already."
The call ended, and I walked closer.
That's when I saw Keifer.
He had changed.
His style wasn't as sharp as before — softer, calmer. A hoodie instead of his usual fitted jackets. Relaxed, but still unmistakably him.
"You look nice," I told him honestly.
He turned around, grinning — and that's when I saw the back of his hoodie.
KEIFER & JAY
I stared for a second… then burst out laughing.
"Seriously?"
Before anyone could tease him properly—
A black car pulled up in front of the entrance.
Not just any car.
It had a dark arrow symbol on the side.
The engine stopped.
The door opened.
And a girl stepped out.
She looked… too sweet.
Soft smile. Calm eyes. Innocent presence.
Too sweet to be coming out of a car like that.
For reasons I couldn't explain, my chest tightened.
I didn't know her.
Not yet.
But something deep inside me whispered—
This girl was about to change everything.
