Chapter 2 - This is not Never Land

Peter was bored and the land of Never Land reflected his boredom. The skies usually filled with vibrant colors were a dry less gray. The magical creatures and the boys that Peter had brought here also felt Peter's emotions as if they were their own. Peter was laying down on the ground looking up at the gray sky. His green eyes hazed over in thought. 'I wish this world could be more interesting. Everyone here just does what I say. Even Captain Hook just avoids me lately. The man lost all his passion to entertain me anymore.' Peter sighed loudly and as if Never Land listened a strong breeze went through knocking some of the weaker folk down. It did nothing to Peter though.

'Maybe I can find a new friend at Earth or...' A mischievous smile lit Peter's face. The skies filled in with a slight purple as if to copy his emotion. 'Or maybe I take another adult to replace hook. One that would be angry at me for taking them away from their home.'

As Peter had that thought Tink who could feel his dark thoughts thoughts flew at him with intended force and slammed in his face. Peter in shock stood up and yelled. "What the hell Tink?" Tink's face turned red in anger as she vented out her agitation on Peter. Of course no one understood what Tink was saying besides Peter and other fairy kind. "Alright, Alright." Peter said with his hands in the air and a slight smirk on his face. His oldest friend was the only thing in Never Land that could get away with telling Peter what to do. "I wont steal a helpless adult from their family. Promise!" Peter held out his pinky finger and Tink rush at the finger and hugged it. Peter smiled seeing the happy fairy and Never Land's skies and atmosphere brighten up from Peter's mood.

Even the lost boys who were laying down started playing with each other. Peter's mood controlled all of Never Land. "Were still going to Earth!" Peter said to Tink with a smile. Tink frowned and she shook her head. Even the Lost boys that heard Peter proclamation stopped their fun activities and looked Peter sadly. Peter didn't know what happened to Never Land when he left. And no one ever told him. Not that they didn't try. But every time they went to tell Peter a sharp pain filled their heads and they forgot what they were going to say.

Peter flew up into the sky with Tink not caring one bit how sad every creature on the island got when he left. And once he did leave thats when the darkness came. An empty void was all that everyone felt. Emptiness that seem would never leave. The feeling was torture far from belief. The feeling of losing everything of value to you, thats how it felt on Never Land when Peter Pan left.

Peter Pan of course had no clue of what happened when he left but Tink did she could feel her fairy kind hurting but rather it was because she was attached to Peter or because she didn't want to feel that pain herself she would always go with Peter to Earth.

It didn't take long to reach earth. To be exact London. As always Peter's eyes went to the house that Wendy lived in. He never dropped by anymore. It hurt to much to see that she had her own family and that she was happy without him. His shadow would pull at him to go see her. That thing attached to his body was drawn to her like a bee to a flower. Peter would give his shadow a stern look and then it would finally stop bugging to do things he would never do.

Peter flew around London. He did see some children without families or that looked incredibly sad but the impulse he used to have to take them with him to Never Land so that he would have a new friend wasn't there. Even the earlier impulse to abduct an adult was also not there. Tink could tell there was something wrong. The look on Peter's face was that of disappointment. Tink pulled on his shirt and pointed to the sky. "You want to go back to Never Land?" Peter questioned. It wasn't a question towards Tink no it was a question to himself. A voice screamed in Peter Pan's heart. 'I dont want to go Never Land and I dont want to be on Earth.' Of course that voice was not answered at least Peter thought it wasn't answer.

But he didn't noticed the stars move in the sky or how an energy changed its frequency as if to match what he wanted. Tink however did. Her widening as she didn't feel the connection to her Fairy Kind. She looked around her trying to tap back into that connection she had lost. But she couldn't feel it. Luckily she was distracted by her feeling of lost when Peter said "Alright, lets leave for Never Land!" Tink perked up she knew the connection she lost would come back as long as she was back in Never Land. So she flew onto Peter's shoulder to sit and he flew.

Peter looked up into the sky looking at the stars 'Alright second star to the right and straight on til morning.' He told himself as he flew. He flew and he flew and he flew until he realized something off. "Shouldn't we have been to Never Land by now Tink?" Peter asked confusion filled his voice. Tink who was on his shoulder didn't answer instead she flew into the pocket on his brown pants with a look of discomfort on her face. Peter ignored her reaction something he would come to regret later as he kept flying. 'Maybe I flew slower than usual.' Peter thought.

Just like normal a weird looking tunnel approached Peter. However the tunnel looked much more different than the normal one that would bring him to Never Land. The tunnel of Never Land would show the landscapes of Never Land, the creatures, the lost boys, Hook and his ship. But no this tunnel show different landscapes ones he's never seen before, a straw hat, creatures some similar to ones he's seen others he had never seen before. He then saw many faces of different pirates the last face it showed was a pirate about to be executed but before he did he yelled "You want my treasure? You can have it! I left everything I gathered together in one place! Now you just have to find it!" For some reason Peter felt goosebumps form on his arm when the pirate said that.

The tunnel ended and then a sky lit up Peter's face. At first he couldn't see anything being in the clouds. He leaned down so he would be below them and then that's when he saw a large land scape surrounded by oceans. The landscape was nothing but sand but Peter Pan could not help but feel his heart swell for the first time in a long time seeing this new land. He wanted to stay in the sky looking at it so he willed his body up but nothing happened he was still falling.

Peter was filled with shock as he tried again again to control his flight but it wasn't working. "Tink why am I not flying?" Peter asked and there was no response. Peter getting a better grasped of his current situation as the land was coming closer and closer to him yelled "TINK!" Peter then took at hand to his pocket where Tink should have been at but in her place was a sword someone attached to his pants. Tink wasn't there at all. Peter grabbed the sword. It was a beautiful golden blade that he had never seen before. But his attention to the blade was short as focus was more on the missing fairy that made where he could fly. "Tink!" Peter yelled once again but as he did the blade that he was now holding glowed faintly.

Peter was quick to connect the dots. Tink went missing a mysterious blade appeared and when he called her name the blade would light up. "Tink did you turn into a sword?" Peter asked and the blade shined much more brightly as to answer him.

Peter didn't have time to comprehend the situation as the ground was getting closer and closer. "Tink can you produce some pixie dust even in that form?" Peter asked. The sword glowed once again and after a moment it produced the magical dust that allowed Peter to fly. Peter sighed with relief feeling the familiar power come back to him and just in time to stop his fall as he was only a few feet from the ground. All that surrounded Peter was dessert and an energy that this world gave off that was not from Earth or Never Land
