Chapter 1 - VOL.4 THE ULTOLD TRUTH

SCENE — THE UNTOLD TRUTH

(Low ominous background music fades in)

(Sound of distant humming energy… particles crackling)

Everyone in the organization stood frozen.

The air itself felt heavy—

as if reality was holding its breath.

From Riku's body…

red particles drifted slowly into the air, glowing like embers from a dying star.

No one spoke.

No one dared to.

They had seen power before.

They had fought monsters.

They had faced death countless times—

But this was different.

A power that did not roar…

A power that watched.

What… was that?

That single question echoed in every mind.

(Footsteps echo across the hall)

Suddenly—

the massive steel doors creaked open.

Everyone turned instantly.

It was him.

The Boss of the Organization.

Without a word, everyone stood up and bowed deeply.

The boss slowly scanned the room, his sharp eyes stopping briefly on Riku.

Then he spoke—his voice calm, yet carrying unbearable weight.

"I know what you are all thinking."

The room went silent.

"You are wondering about the red particles that flowed from Riku's body during the battle."

He raised his hand.

And from the shadows, an object appeared—

An ancient book, wrapped in cracked leather and coated in centuries of dust.

As he brushed the dirt away, faded letters became visible.

『THE UNTOLD TRUTH』

The moment those words were seen—

Shock spread across the room.

Whispers broke out.

Everyone knew the legend.

A forbidden record.

A book said to contain the ultimate mystery of the world.

The origin of demons.

And the truth no human was meant to know.

Many believed it was a myth.

Others believed reading it would invite destruction.

And yet…

here it was.

The boss opened the book slowly.

The pages groaned, as if screaming after centuries of silence.

"Now listen carefully," he said.

"Because what you are about to hear… changes everything."

Around seven hundred years ago,

before the world you know existed—

There lived a man named Rimaru.

He was known as the greatest man alive.

The strongest warrior.

The hero of humanity.

No enemy could stand before him.

No demon dared to speak his name.

But then—

A man appeared.

His name was Rikaru.

He joined the organization quietly.

No fame.

No reputation.

Weak-looking.

Silent.

Always watching.

People laughed at him.

Even Rimaru mocked him openly.

"You don't belong here."

No one knew.

No one imagined.

That Rikaru was not hiding weakness—

He was hiding the end of the world.

THE DAY THE SKY FELL

One day—

The earth screamed.

From the horizon rose demonic beasts, towering like skyscrapers.

Their footsteps shattered cities.

Their roars split the sky.

Weapons failed.

Magic collapsed.

Hope vanished.

Humanity was on the verge of extinction.

The organization issued its final command.

"Rimaru—assemble your strongest team."

Rikaru was included.

When they arrived at the battlefield—

Chaos reigned.

Swords clashed.

Spells exploded.

Demons fell one by one.

Everyone fought desperately.

Everyone—

Except Rikaru.

He stood at the edge of the battlefield…

leaning casually, as if watching a play.

Rimaru scoffed.

"This is not a place for cowards."

Then—

A demon noticed him.

A colossal beast lunged toward Rikaru.

Everyone shouted.

Too late.

(Sharp metallic sound)

Rikaru moved.

Just once.

He swung his sword—

not even touching the beast.

The blade cut air itself.

And in the next instant—

The demon split cleanly in half.

Silence.

Blood rained like crimson snow.

Rimaru's eyes widened.

Rikaru looked at the remaining beasts and spoke calmly:

"You weaklings…

want to see something interesting?"

Then—

It began.

From his body flowed red particles, swirling violently, staining the sky.

The ground cracked beneath his feet.

His presence alone crushed demons to their knees.

"Watch closely," Rikaru said.

In four… five strikes—

Every colossal demon fell.

Each swing erased existence itself.

There was no struggle.

No mercy.

Only annihilation.

The boss closed the book slowly.

The sound echoed like a coffin shutting.

"That power…

was the beginning."

"Rikaru was not human."

"He was the origin."

The room fell into terror-filled silence.

All eyes turned toward Riku.

Who stood quietly.

Expression unreadable.

The red particles faded…

but the fear remained.

(Music rises, slow and ominous)

"This," the boss said,

"is the untold truth."
