Chapter 53 - Chapter 53: An Impossible Love

Was it truly right… that the entirety of Divine Energy resided within her?

Or had she unknowingly become the very catalyst capable of bringing unimaginable destruction upon the world?

Siya was not weak.

She had never been weak.

She was the kind of warrior who could break — but never bend.

And now, another battle awaited her. A battle that might very well be the last.

The truth revealed before her had shattered every illusion she once held. The danger she believed to be recent was, in fact, ancient — a force that had pursued her across ages, across lifetimes, only to finally stand before her again.

This time, she would not only fight an external enemy.

She would have to confront the enemy within herself.

The war raging between her heart and her mind had to end before she could face the greater war approaching.

Whom would she listen to now?

Her heart… or her mind?

Everyone stood gathered in the chamber.

Siya's expression was calm, but her eyes carried the weight of inevitability.

"Ali," she said steadily, "he will come for me. For the Divine Energy inside me — the power he has been searching for."

The room fell silent.

"I want you to create a weapon," she continued, her voice unwavering, "one that will ensure that if I die, the Divine Energy returns to Maa Shakti instead of falling into his hands."

Shock rippled through the room.

Andy stepped forward immediately. "Have you lost your mind, Siya? You're asking us to build a weapon for your own death! How could you even think we would allow something like that?"

Ali shook his head firmly. "I'm sorry, Siya… but I cannot agree to this. What you're saying destroys our hope — our courage."

Siya answered calmly, almost gently.

"To gain something, something must be sacrificed."

She looked at them both.

"I am merely a vessel chosen by the Supreme Creator to protect this world. If not me, someone else will take my place. The purpose matters more than the person."

Her voice softened, yet carried absolute conviction.

"If we fail to restore this world… then our existence itself becomes meaningless. I will not truly end. I will simply shed this body and merge into Maa Shakti."

Trikala stepped forward quickly.

"Siya, don't speak like this. There must be another way. Let us think."

He hesitated before continuing carefully.

"What if… you gave him the Divine Energy willingly? Perhaps he would spare the world. You could negotiate with him."

The moment those words reached her ears—

Siya's anger erupted.

"Choose your words carefully, Trikalyagya!"

Her voice thundered through the chamber.

"You are asking me to join hands with an enemy? To bow before a demon?"

Her eyes burned with fierce resolve.

"I may break… but I will never bow. If you have nothing worthy to say, then remain silent."

The room froze.

Clara quickly intervened. "Calm down, Siya. Right now, we should think ahead. Why wait for Kaal to attack us? We can strike first."

Siya nodded immediately. "Clara is right. Find out where his army is hiding. Why should we give him the advantage?"

She turned sharply.

"Clara, stay here. Everyone else — leave."

"Ali, Andy — locate Kaal. And Ali… begin preparations for the weapon."

"But Boss—"

"I don't want to hear 'but,' Ali."

Her tone left no room for argument.

Ali sighed. "As you wish."

The others exited the chamber.

Only Clara remained.

She studied Siya carefully.

"You still seem distant," Clara said softly. "What's wrong?"

Siya exhaled slowly.

"I don't know… You saw what happened just now. I don't understand whether I should trust Trikalyagya or not."

Clara tilted her head. "Then why make him so important in your life that you have to trust him? Just keep him at a distance."

"That's what I want," Siya admitted quietly. "But I can't. The more I try to push him away… the more my heart begins to expect things from him."

Her voice lowered.

"I'm afraid that in this conflict between my heart and mind… I might make a wrong decision."

Clara hesitated.

"I might be wrong," she said slowly, "but… could it be that you're—"

"What?" Siya asked.

Clara swallowed. "Are you… falling in love?"

"Impossible."

The word came out cold and immediate.

"Love entered my life only once," Siya said firmly. "And it will never return."

Her gaze hardened.

"I have disciplined my mind enough that it cannot act against my will. If it ever does… then I am not worthy of being called a goddess."

Clara gave a faint smile. "But it's a heart, Siya. It doesn't follow permission. It simply… happens."

Siya shook her head.

"No, Clara. I am not an ordinary human whose emotions control her. Things were different when Jate was in my life. But since then… I have endured thousands of years of meditation, pain, suffering, and trials."

She placed a hand over her chest.

"I know myself. This is not love."

Her eyes narrowed thoughtfully.

"There must be another reason. Perhaps some external force is influencing me… something beyond my awareness."

She stood.

"I need to find out."

Clara nodded slowly. "If you're certain, then you must be right."

"Is there anything else?" Clara asked.

"Yes," Siya replied quietly. "Something important. But not now."

She turned toward her chamber.

"I must enter meditation."

Her voice became firm again.

"Make sure no one enters my room. No one at all."

Clara nodded. "Understood."

As Siya walked away, the air around her felt heavier — charged with unseen tension.

The war outside was coming.

But first…

She had to win the war within.
