Chapter 107 - Chapter 107: Fight Yourself

"You're not thinking about escaping... are you, Siya?"

The voice echoed through the chamber, emerging from nowhere and everywhere at once.

It was impossible to tell whether it came from the walls, the darkness, or from inside her own mind.

Seated in deep meditation at the center of the dimly lit room, Siya slowly opened her eyes.

A calm smile spread across her face.

"Do you really think so?" she asked, her voice serene. "Perhaps you don't know me as well as you believe."

She rose to her feet with effortless grace.

"Don't worry."

She looked directly toward the surveillance camera.

"Running away in secret has never been my style."

A low chuckle reverberated throughout the chamber.

"I know, Siya."

The unseen voice carried an unsettling warmth.

"But when the people you love are involved... you disappear from my sight in the blink of an eye."

The silence that followed was heavy.

"It seems you've become rather interested in my city."

A pause.

"If you'd like... you're free to explore it."

Siya's expression remained unreadable.

"Interested?"

She let out a faint laugh.

"I don't think so."

She slowly walked toward the massive black wall surrounding the chamber, gently running her fingers across its cold surface.

"This city..."

Her eyes narrowed.

"...is merely a fragment of your kingdom of darkness."

She stopped.

"And I already know one thing."

Her reflection stared back at her from the polished black stone.

"This isn't reality."

Her voice became colder.

"Yet despite knowing that... I've spent all this time searching for you."

The mysterious voice laughed again.

"Oh, Siya..."

"So you finally figured it out."

Its amusement echoed endlessly through the prison.

"I never intended to keep you confused forever."

Siya folded her arms.

"Yes."

"It took longer than I expected."

"But I don't regret it."

A confident smile appeared on her face.

"Because I never leave empty-handed."

"I always take something valuable with me."

The darkness around her seemed to pulse.

The unseen figure spoke again.

"Tell me then, Siya..."

"What exactly do you hope to take from the darkness?"

Another pause.

"Do you desire a piece of it?"

His voice became softer.

"I can give it to you."

A whisper drifted through the chamber.

"You need only become mine."

The walls trembled.

"I'll make you the Queen of Darkness itself."

His laughter echoed.

"What do you say?"

Siya smiled.

Not with temptation...

But with pity.

"All my life..."

"I've walked into darkness for only one reason."

She took another step forward.

"To destroy it."

Her golden eyes shone brilliantly.

"So be careful."

The temperature inside the chamber dropped.

"You may try to make me yours..."

Her voice became sharp enough to cut through steel.

"But perhaps I'll become yours only to consume your darkness with my light."

Silence.

For the first time...

The voice didn't laugh immediately.

Then...

A slow clap echoed through the chamber.

"Wonderful..."

"So wonderfully arrogant."

The unseen presence sounded almost delighted.

"That's exactly what makes you different, Siya."

A deep vibration spread through the room.

"Come then."

His tone changed.

"Break this illusion."

A pause.

"Fight."

Another pause.

"But fight yourself."

The words echoed repeatedly.

Fight yourself...

Fight yourself...

Fight yourself...

The walls around her began shifting.

The chamber distorted.

Its geometry folded impossibly.

Every shadow stretched toward Siya.

Then the voice spoke once more.

"But tell me something..."

"Will you defeat yourself..."

"...or destroy yourself?"

Siya's eyes narrowed.

The darkness continued twisting.

The floor beneath her feet dissolved into an endless abyss.

Mirrors emerged from every direction.

Thousands.

Millions.

Every reflection showed a different Siya.

One smiling.

One crying.

One consumed by rage.

One drowning in grief.

One radiating divine light.

One wrapped entirely in darkness.

The mysterious voice whispered from every reflection simultaneously.

"You've been imprisoned..."

"...inside yourself."

The words struck like lightning.

"Tell me, Siya..."

"How do you escape a prison..."

"...when you are the prison?"

The reflections began laughing.

The sound was identical to her own voice.

The laughter echoed endlessly.

"You possess the key."

Another whisper.

"It has always been with you."

The mirrors started cracking.

"But can you use it?"

Darkness swallowed the room.

"If the only way out..."

The voice grew terrifyingly calm.

"...is to leave your own self behind..."

A heartbeat echoed.

"Will you destroy your own body..."

"...to free your soul?"

Silence consumed everything.

Even the air seemed to stop moving.

Standing alone in the center of infinite darkness, Siya slowly closed her eyes once more.

Her breathing steadied.

Her heartbeat calmed.

Then, with absolute confidence, she smiled.

Because she finally understood...

The enemy wasn't trying to imprison her body.

He was trying to make her doubt her own existence.

And that was a battle Siya had never intended to lose.
