Chapter 16 - Pulling out Master's name to Intimidate enemies!

The monk was forced to take out a long staff, stumping it into the ground and reciting some verses, causing it to glow golden.

But Wang Li didn't stop as he thrust five strikes successively sticking on a golden barrier.

It was just that the monk was incapable of fighting back, and focused on defenses, because Wang Li wasn't an easy opponent.

Seeing the barrier was persistent, Wang Li utilized the Mountains and seas art, as lifelike mountains and seas rose inside his blood vessels.

The mountains imbued his blood and Qi with immense power that just from a single strike, the golden barrier dimmed while the rod had cracks forming on the surface.

Wang Li made a strange posture before attacking again, and this time his fist piercing through the barrier slamming into the middle-aged monk.

Boom!

The monk was thrown back, coughing blood.

He looked up and saw Wang Li looking up at him with undisguised killing intent.

"Are you behind the village chief of this place? That makes sense, after all without a background how can someone be so bold as to slaughter so many mortals and openly survive for so long without any nearby power doing anything about it." Wang Li asked as he walked towards the monk.

"What do you mean?" The middleaged monk was flustered because he could feel complete killing intent from the outer party.

He was already someone at the pinnacle of the Martial genesis realm. But he was bested without the ability to resist.

"You can't kill me!" The middleaged monk became flustered.

Wang Li on the other hand wanted to know why this old man couldn't be killed as such he lifted his right leg and crushed towards the monks bald head.

"Stop!"

A mighty voice sounded from the distance, it was clearly a strong person.

But Wang Li's foot didn't stop rather stomped heavily on the monk casing cracking sound to erupt.

It was just that the monk didn't die.

"Insolent little brat!" The voice was even more angry like the might of heaven and earth.

"You are the insolent one! Your entire family is insolent!" Wang Li responded as he looked at the massive approaching light. His leg rested on the monk's head but he was pressing it forcefully on the ground.

He felt a strong suffocating pressure pressing on his body, but to his surprise, under this strong pressure that was putting a strain on his bones almost causing them to crack, a strong vitality revived deep inside him.

Along with the vitality, his blood was boiling clearly reaching some threshold for the fourth transformation. This level was already beyond the Martial Genesis realm.

"Kid! Release my disciple this instant and disable your own cultivation, I might leave you a whole body!" The voice exploded in his mind.

It was trying to control him, but his face only went pale as his eyes turned even colder.

A powerful force flooded his blood and Qi causing the transformation that was happening inside him to speed up, as his Mountain and Seas Art jumped into perfection stage instantly.

"Naive!" Wang Li replied coldly as he pressed forcefully, causing the sound of skull crushing erupt.

Katcha!

The bald monk whose head he was stepping on collapsed. He was killed just like that.

"Old thing! You have a disciple and you think I don't have master?" Wang Lu said calmy as his pale face looked at the figure standing in the sky with a mocking expression.

To the figure's surprise, Wang Li actually started screaming, "Master! Some old monster is trying to steal your disciple!"

The moment this words were spoken, the monk in the sky felt several killing intents lock onto him.

It was as though the sun in the sky had disappeared as he felt coldness creping onto his skin.

He actually had this feeling several supreme beings were observing him. If he dared to mess around, the only outcome would be death.

"Supreme Giant! No supreme Giants! I've been locked onto by several supreme Giants! Even our sect ancestor is only half-step in thus category." The monk felt his skin crawling.

The moment this realization dawned on the monk, he felt he needed to survive. Everything else could be throw aside for the moment.

"This benefactor! We can talk about it!" The tone of the voice of the old man suddenly changed.

Even the pressure acting on him vanished.

"Holy shit! Are the people in this cultivation world so easily scared, or is it that my master is some demon! Why didn't this guy follow the script and look down on my master, before master slaps him a few times, robbing his 'Cough! Cough! Cough! I mean repossessing his treasures and leaving me some soup." Wang Li murmured as he looked up.

It was just that his words, clearly weren't loud, but a few people that heard it turned to Wang Lu with strange stares.

"Wang Lu is this how you teach disciples?"

"Right! No wonder you were even willing to fight us for this disciple. Crocked to the bone just like you." Another peak master commented.

"Thanks senior brother and sister for your praises." Wang Lu on the other end appeared to be small, but the others could sense a strong killing intent hidden in her eyes towards that monk floating in the sky.

The other peak masters clearly didn't want her to go on a rampage. They intervened or even Wang Li didn't have to call out, she would have long acted.

Back on the scene, feeling the pressure completely gone. Wang Li lost interest and looked at the figure in the sky before asking, "Do you have some earth grade techniques? Let this young master see them. Oh! Add some divine blood too, best if it has purifying powers of your sect."

Wang Li wasn't the one to retreat when benefits arose. Now that he had already seen a path he would follow through.

"It is as benefactor says." The monk was surprisingly very obedient.

Wang Li on the other hand received five Earth grade techniques and three drops of Buddhist Divine blood and one demonic blood.

He pocketed them all, before asking, "Where is the place with the most poisonous mist nearby?"

"Well benefactor! That should be the tidal abyss, but it is not advisable to go there!" The monk replied.

"Give me a map!" Wang Li demanded without wasting time on the man. He couldn't kill him with his abilities such that he didn't bother much with him.

"Okay! I'm gone. If you feel very rich make sure to continue seeking trouble with me!" After his good advise he walked off.

He didn't know that after he left, a strong pressure descended on the man.

A cold voice full of heavenly authority erupted in his mind.

"Cut off your arm and scram!"

He didn't even hesitate when he heard this. But a pained expression appeared on his face as his storage ring vanished from his hand.

Meanwhile Wang Li looked at the map, and recognized that he was miles away from the Tidal Abyss.

"Stupid disciple! You aren't coming back to the sect yet?" He was just about to put away the map when an angry voice sounded in his mind.

"Oh! Master! Turns out you are the reason that the bald donkey was so obedient." Wang Li exclaimed.

"That isn't what this old lady asked you." She cut him off instantly.

"Well master! I'll still have one thing to handle and I'll be back to the sect." He replied seriously.

"Okay then. Be careful!" Wang Lu's voice filled with concern sounded, before disappearing.

Meanwhile in the second Heaven of the Spirit Stream Sect, where dark clouds surrounded by lightning flashed continuously, twelve figures sat together.

They were clearly the ten peak masters the sect master and an old man with a handsome dignified appearance.

"Little Lu! You have finally taken in a disciple. Your master would be happy to know this!" The old man commented as he smilled, his gaze locking onto Wang Li walking towards the Tidal Abyss.

It was just when he looked at Wang Li and then turned to look at Wang Lu, he couldn't help but feel as though he was looking at a replica.

It wasn't exactly their appearance, rather the demeanor they gave off.

"So similar! Wang Lu! Just out of curiosity, why did you choose to take on this disciple of yours?" The old man had just asked this when he felt Wang Lu was giving him a dangerous look.

"Cough! Cough! Disciple nephew.. calm down. Could this old man really be thinking about stealing a disciple from you?" He defended himself as he knew she was a madwoman.

What was even more terrifying was that she had cultivated those ancient techniques to a very high level and combat power insanely high.

"Its good to know!" Wang Lu commented as she looked away.

"Did you pass on your ancient techniques to that kid? Why is he going to the Tidal Abyss? That place is not some nice place. Why not stop him?" Another voice sounded and the owner was a figure covered in a black cloak. He was one of the peak masters.

"Senior brother shouldn't worry too much. My disciple might be stubborn but not stupid." Wang Lu didn't explain everything, just casting one glance in the direction Wang Li had gone, before closing her eyes.

Her presence seemed to have been erased and without being able to see her by sight, one couldn't realize she was even present.

She ignored the rest of the discussions around her.
