"The Survey Corps, the Survey Corps is finally here!" Seeing the green Wings of Freedom insignia, the Military Police and garrison soldiers holding the front line finally breathed a sigh of relief.
A figure flashed by like lightning. In just a few breaths, the silhouette swept past four Titans—and without exception, all four had blood spraying from the nape of their necks, collapsing to the ground with a thunderous crash.
With a casual flick, the blood was shaken off the blades. That not-so-tall figure nonetheless brought the greatest surge of morale to every soldier present.
"Squad Leader Levi!"
"All soldiers, don't let a single Titan escape!" Levi's cold voice rang clearly in every soldier's ears, and morale instantly surged.
Marlo looked on with admiration. He suddenly felt that, compared to the corrupt and incompetent Military Police, joining the Survey Corps under the Wings of Freedom—fighting alongside someone like Squad Leader Levi—might make life far more meaningful.
Wave after wave of soldiers bearing the Wings of Freedom charged fearlessly into the Titan horde, slaughtering them. But the number of Titans flooding into the Orvud District was considerable—nearly a hundred—and one or two fast-moving Titans silently slipped through the soldiers' defensive line.
Yago rapidly approached the battlefield and precisely located Levi's position.
"Squad Leader, do you know about the Battle to Retake Trost?"
Levi neatly sliced open a Titan's nape, frowned slightly, and said,
"What do you mean?"
Yago spun through the air, fired his grappling anchors. The sharp spearheads pierced into a fifteen-meter-class Titan. Gas burst out, twin blades raised—crack! A large chunk of flesh from the Titan's nape was severed.
"In the Battle to Retake Trost, humanity turned the tide by borrowing the Titan power of the soldier Eren. Now, we can recreate that victory once again," Yago said.
Levi immediately understood Yago's meaning, but Yago's next words made him frown again.
"Squad Leader, the Marleyan warriors hiding in the shadows are definitely watching us. Once I transform, they will certainly make their move. When that time comes, please let them witness the might of humanity's strongest soldier." Yago stared into Levi's eyes. After a moment of thought, Levi nodded.
Yago smiled faintly. The Vertical Maneuvering Equipment activated, and the gas propulsion carried Yago swiftly to the artificial rock formation.
As blood flowed from his palm, yellow arcs of electricity wrapped around Yago.
A terrifying roar erupted from steam that appeared out of nowhere, and a pair of crimson eyes emerged before everyone.
A massive body, muscles brimming with power, a mouth full of sharp teeth—this was the intelligent Titan that existed outside the Nine Titans, the Fate Titan!
The soldiers present were stunned by the sight. Before their eyes, a soldier had just suddenly turned into a Titan?
"All units, attention! This is our Titan power! Full cover! Let our Titan block the breach! Once again, recreate the victory of the Battle to Retake Trost!" Levi shouted loudly.
Levi's explanation snapped the soldiers back to their senses.
"This is our Titan?"
"Is it that Eren Yeager from the newspapers?"
"We actually have Titan power too?"
"That's great—humanity is saved!"
The Fate Titan's crimson eyes turned toward the pile of artificial rocks. With heavy steps, he walked up to it and immediately fixed his gaze on the largest boulder.
Crack, crack! Crystal-like hardening surfaced on the Fate Titan's arms, and pale bone claws appeared on his fingers.
Rip! The Fate Titan raised his arms high, and the sharp bone claws easily pierced deep into the boulder.
"ROAR!!!" As the Fate Titan opened his mouth and roared in fury, the ten-thousand-jin boulder was lifted effortlessly overhead.
On a distant rooftop, watching the Fate Titan raise the boulder, Zeke pushed up his glasses.
"So it's finally appeared, huh?"

Outside the gate of Wall Sheena, a massive crowd of civilians had gathered. Most people sat on the ground praying; a few were cursing.
Suddenly, the earth began to tremble. A sharp-eyed citizen screamed,
"Titans! Titans are coming here!!"
In the distance, two Titans with bizarre postures were sprinting wildly toward the crowd.
"Abnormals! They're Abnormal Titans!"
A Military Police soldier recognized the special Titans.
Several soldiers were accompanying the two Abnormals, but these Military Police—who had never truly faced Titans before—had no courage at all to fight them, only futilely trying to interfere.
"Bastards! Aren't you Military Police?! Get up there and kill those two Titans already!!"
A citizen grabbed a Military Police soldier by the collar, only to find that the soldier's legs were shaking even worse than his own.
"A child! There's a child over there!"
On the street where the Titans were charging, a three- or four-year-old child sat helplessly on the ground, crying.
And the Abnormal Titan was right at hand!

I recommend checking out my new Pokémon fanfic, "Pokémon System: Me, the Strongest Champion of the League"! It features a system that isn't overpowered, keeping the story balanced and engaging. The main character isn't Ash, but an original, cool MC, which makes it even more enjoyable to read. I'd love to hear your feedback!
