Chapter 152 - chapter-153 Facing the troubled world!

Sea God Island was lush with vegetation, ancient trees reaching to the sky, obscuring the sun, like a primitive forest isolated from the world.

Wu Changkong and Shen Yi led Fang Yang and the others through the island, over two small hills, and arrived in front of a two-story wooden house.

Before they could even knock, a deep, resonant voice came from inside the wooden house.

"All of you, come in."

Everyone gently pushed open the wooden door, revealing a simple wooden house.

The furnishings inside were sparse, all the furniture made of wood, emitting a faint scent of pine.

A white-haired elder sat upright on a wooden chair; although he looked very old, his figure was still as straight as a pine, his eyes bright and piercing, and his entire being exuded an Aura of unchallengeable authority.

This was none other than Zhuo Shi, an elder of the Sea God Pavilion, the teacher of Wu Changkong and Shen Yi, a Three-Word Armor Master, and the Red Dragon Douluo.

Shen Yi stepped forward, respectfully introducing, "Fang Yang, Gu Yue, Xu Xiaoyan, Zhang Yangzi, Wang Jinxi, this is Senior Red Dragon Douluo Zhuo Shi."

She turned to Tang Wulin and Xie Xie, "Wu Lin, Xie Xie, this is your Grandmaster."

"Greetings, Senior, Grandmaster!" everyone saluted in unison, their voices respectful.

Zhuo Shi nodded slightly, his gaze like a torch as he swept over each person, finally resting on Fang Yang.

"All of you, sit."

Zhuo Shi pointed to the wooden stools inside the house, his voice ancient but full of vigor.

Everyone sat down as instructed, and the wooden house fell silent for a moment, only the occasional bird song from outside the window breaking the tranquility.

"Fang Yang."

Zhuo Shi's voice broke the silence, "I heard you refused the Pavilion Master's invitation to become his Personal Disciple?"

"Yes, Senior, that is correct." Fang Yang's expression was calm, as he nodded in response, neither humble nor arrogant.

"Hahaha!"

Zhuo Shi suddenly let out a hearty laugh, with a hint of playfulness, "I didn't expect the Pavilion Master to be refused one day; this is truly a rare occurrence."

The atmosphere in the wooden house lightened a bit with this laughter.

Shen Yi stood to the side, a hint of surprise flashing in her eyes. She rarely saw her teacher laugh so heartily, and she never expected him to be so interested in this matter.

A hint of a smile also flickered in Wu Changkong's eyes; he, too, seemed quite amused by this scene.

Zhuo Shi's laughter gradually subsided, and he asked with interest, "Can you tell me why you refused? You should know, being chosen by the Pavilion Master is something many people dream of."

"I don't want to."

Fang Yang calmly uttered these three words, his tone as usual.

This simple answer plunged the room into a brief silence once more.

Instead of being displeased, Zhuo Shi laughed heartily again, "Hahaha, good boy, you have character!"

He nodded appreciatively, "However, I hope you make good plans for your future."

"Yes, thank you for the reminder, Senior." Fang Yang nodded respectfully in response.

Zhuo Shi's gaze turned to the others, his tone becoming a bit more serious: "You all must also work harder and remember to abide by all the academy's regulations."

"Yes."

Everyone responded in unison, nodding seriously.

Next, Zhuo Shi chatted with everyone about many topics, from spirit power Cultivation to Armor crafting, from combat skills to team coordination, offering valuable advice to each person.

These experiences greatly benefited everyone.

Unbeknownst to them, it was already noon, and Zhuo Shi warmly invited everyone to have lunch together.

He personally brought out a plate of dark-colored steamed buns from the kitchen and placed them in front of everyone.

"Fang Yang, all of you, try them." Zhuo Shi said, a hint of expectation in his eyes.

Fang Yang picked up a dark steamed bun and took a small bite.

The bun was soft and chewy, and although it had little flavor and a faint, almost imperceptible fishy smell, it was by no means delicious.

However, the next moment, a warm current flowed down his throat, rapidly spreading throughout his body.

The Qi and blood in his body seemed to be stimulated, immediately becoming active.

That warm current significantly reduced his hunger, and his Qi and blood surged, making him feel refreshed.

Seeing this, Zhuo Shi nodded with satisfaction and explained, "These are dark steamed buns, which are actually a special type of fish from the deep sea, containing extremely high nutritional content."

"Thank you, Senior, Grandmaster!"

Everyone thanked him in unison, picking up the dark steamed buns to taste.

Afterward, this simple lunch concluded in a pleasant atmosphere.

Just then, a crisp knock sounded at the door.

"Grandpa Zhuo Shi, are you there?" A clear, melodious voice came from outside the door.

Zhuo Shi smiled and said, "I'm here, come in."

Gu Yue glanced at Fang Yang but said nothing. The others looked bewildered, unsure who the visitor was.

The wooden door was gently pushed open, and a silver-haired girl walked in.

She saw Fang Yang at once and immediately threw herself into his arms, savoring his familiar scent.

"Brother, I missed you so much."

Fang Yang gently ruffled her silver hair, his voice tender: "Na'er."

This scene stunned everyone present, as if time had stopped at that moment.

"This is…?"

Xie Xie's eyes widened in shock, his mouth slightly agape, unable to speak for a moment.

Tang Wulin looked at the two thoughtfully, his eyes revealing a pensive expression.

Gu Yue remained silent, just quietly watching them, a complex emotion flashing in her eyes.

Xu Xiaoyan was stunned, her face full of confusion.

Zhang Yangzi and Wang Jinxi also showed puzzled expressions, looking at each other, both unsure of what was happening.

"Fang Yang has a Junior Sister?" Shen Yi was dumbfounded.

She could hardly believe her eyes—this girl was Na'er!

Na'er, the Personal Disciple of Sea God Pavilion Master Yun Ming, the strongest Genius of Shrek Academy in this generation, known as the Silver Spear Goddess!

And she was hugging Fang Yang so adorably?

"Junior Sister, what's going on?" Wu Changkong asked curiously.

He felt this scene was somewhat familiar, as if he had seen it somewhere before.

If he remembered correctly, the last person to be so close to Fang Yang was Ye Xinglan, and before that, it was Xu Xiaoyan, right?

"She is the Pavilion Master's Personal Disciple…" Shen Yi whispered to Wu Changkong, her voice still filled with disbelief.

Wu Changkong nodded upon hearing this, "I see, then it's fine."

Shen Yi didn't know what Senior Brother Wu Changkong understood, only looking at him with confusion.

Zhuo Shi watched the scene with a chuckle, his eyes full of affection: "Girl Na'er, do you know Fang Yang?"

Na'er lifted her head from Fang Yang's embrace, her silver hair cascading like a waterfall: "Grandpa Zhuo Shi, Big Brother Fang Yang is the most important person to me."

Shen Yi was completely stunned; she never imagined that the aloof Silver Spear Goddess of the academy would show such a dependent side in front of Fang Yang.

"So that's how it is."

Zhuo Shi gave Fang Yang a meaningful glance, his lips curving slightly, and said, "Looks like you're quite something, kid!"

Fang Yang smiled faintly, offering no further explanation.
