"Boom!"
Five water blades sliced directly through the ground, as if splitting the entire island in half.
Kaido, being a Four Emperors-level powerhouse, was fully intent on avoiding and fleeing, and his speed was extremely swift.
However, he was fast, but the Archangel was even faster!
A streak of divine light flashed, and Vladimir instantly appeared in front of Kaido.
"Getting involved with us and trying to run now? You're dreaming,"
Vladimir raised his right hand, and suddenly, a divine light longsword condensed out of thin air, pointing straight at Kaido.
Seeing this, Kaido took a deep breath and said, "Wait, I have no real grudge with you. I admit defeat this time. Whatever conditions you have, just say it."
"That's more like it," Vladimir chuckled softly. "Without permission, stepping onto Cake Island without authorization, then hand over five of your Devil Fruits."
"You're going too far!" Kaido was furious. "If you push me, I can also kill one of you!"
"Did I use all my strength just now?" Vladimir smirked. "No need for the Sea Dragon. I could beat you to the point of having no temper alone. It's just that I don't want to waste time in a prolonged fight."
Hearing this, Kaido was immediately speechless.
He, a mighty Four Emperors, was actually being forced into a situation like this.
But, under the eaves, one has to bow.
"Fine, I'll give you the five fruits after I return!" He gritted his teeth and glared at Vladimir. "Archangel, you guys don't want the Red Stone, then don't occupy this territory!"
The Phantom Organization doesn't want the Red Stone, but they refuse to let others take it—truly infuriating.
He just wanted to get a copy of it, and now even that was impossible.
"The problem isn't here," Vladimir shook his head.
"Whether the Red Stone is there or not doesn't matter, but Cake Island—you can't just walk in anywhere. Otherwise, next time, it won't be five fruits, but something worse."
"Hmph! I remember that!"
Kaido was furious. He snorted coldly, then turned around and left.
He felt aggrieved but had no choice. The opponent was two Four Emperors-level powerhouses; he couldn't defeat them. And if he continued, who knew what monsters the Phantom Organization might unleash next time—then he really wouldn't be able to walk away.
Watching him leave, Vladimir looked up at the sky. The Sea Dragon instantly disappeared, transforming into a streak of black light and entering his body.
He wasn't worried about Kaido defaulting on his promise. When the time comes, he'd just go directly to get his "apology."
"Hahaha, no wonder it's called the Phantom Organization. Even Kaido, a Four Emperor, had to bow,"
At this moment, a figure descended from the sky—it's Doflamingo.
"How's it going?" Vladimir glanced at him and asked. "How many Devil Fruits have been born this time?"
"Besides the one 'Mirror' fruit we left at the start, three more have parasitized in the box," Doflamingo pointed, and immediately, the box moved to Vladimir's front.
Inside the box, among a pile of fruits, four fruits were lying quietly.
"Not as many as I imagined. The deceased ability users aren't just seven or eight."
"It's not always a fifty percent chance each time, and this time the distance was farther. Having three parasitized fruits already counts as a good result," Doflamingo explained.
"Hmm."
Vladimir nodded, pondering his harvest.
He used eight fruits to upgrade the Archangel. Besides the consumed materials, there were still four fruits in the box.
Completing the Navy's mission would yield six fruits.
Kaido's "apology" would give five fruits.
And the Navy's hush money payment was one fruit per month.
"Rich harvest!"
Counting it all up, even Vladimir couldn't help but be a little surprised.
"A big harvest!"
Carefully calculating this harvest, Vladimir was also surprised.
Apart from the fruits already used up, there were a total of 15 remaining, plus one fruit per month as hush money.
However, out of these 15 fruits, four were already in his possession, six were about to be delivered by the Navy, and the last five he would have to personally go to Kaido to demand.
Moreover, every month, the Navy would give him one more fruit.
"A huge harvest!"
Vladimir couldn't help but feel a bit delighted.
In this chaos, the Navy suppressed the pirates' uprising, barely maintaining peace in the New World, and he got what he wanted—everyone was happy.
Thinking of this, Vladimir stored away the fruits and said, "Prepare to clean up the battlefield. There are some leftovers to deal with, but—I won't participate."
The Lance Pirates had fled, the Storm Pirates' captain was captured, and the Unicorn Pirates' captain was on the verge of collapse. Almost all the other pirate crews had been suppressed by Vladimir beneath the iceberg.
In one battle, he had wiped out a large part of the pirate groups in the New World.
"Hahaha… This time I played a little big. Be careful next time," Doflamingo chuckled. "I'll go clean up the battlefield."
Saying that, he turned and left.
Vladimir didn't bother with him. With a six-winged flash, he quickly headed toward the Navy's location.
Before long, he arrived at the port.
At this moment, Cake Island's port was lined with over a dozen warships, arranged in a row outside a group of docked pirate ships.
Some lucky pirate crews, faced with this display, simply raised white flags and surrendered, giving up any thoughts of escape.
Any unauthorized intrusion would only lead to sinking—the Navy's firepower this time was even more intense than on the Demon Slaughter Order.
"It's the Archangel!"
On a command ship, the chief of staff, Crane, was the first to see Vladimir flying from the horizon.
