"I'd like to meet sage" gosh here we go again.
I waved at him, taking out a diary while he slowly moved towards me and sat on the chair infront.
He took the diary and wrote down his name on it.
Krylin zephyr, one hell of a cool name it is.
"I wanna ask you a question" Krylin said pretty directly.
I silently took back the diary and started writing on it
'You only get to ask once and no questions about my identity. Asking about my wife will result in death ' I wrote while smiling at him.
"I wanna know if what you choose in life was worth it. "
I looked at him dead in the eye, didn't write anything but stood up and moved my hand forward for a handshake. He knows...

I'm sage, it's not my real name but I run this place, where only transcendents are allowed. I'm also a transcendent but with a shattered soul, in other words completely powerless.
The reason why I'm using a diary to communicate is because i can't speak. Cafe was full of regulars today. On my left was sitting a couple, they recently got married so as expected full of sweetness. On the right was an old transcendent talking to his wife through the worldline.
The doorbell chimed again, a regular customer entered along with a deadly wound.
"Hey sage, can you heal this one?"
I didn't say anything and just stuck a healing talisman on his face.
While i was at it, I took out a cup putting a filter paper with ground coffee on it. I turned off the stove and poured hot water into a beaker.
I almost dropped it on the ground because of a sudden flash of pain.
Bearing the pain I slowly poured the water over the coffee making sure not to ruin the flavours. After finishing it was time for the part timer to come.
I moved around greeting everyone while reaching for my usual spot, I sat down and took a sip.

The flavours were perfect, my exhaustion was washing away bit by bit.
While subconsciously taking another sip, I had my first thought. 'Man it hurts so bad.'
I smiled while taking another sip, it was a smile devoid of its essence, merely adding up to my facade.
Now that I look at the clock she would already be awake, 'I'm so dead today.'

Opening the backdoor of the cafe, i see a familiar sight of a small house, I start walking towards it looking around seeing children playing around, a cat approaches me. showing me her newborn kittens. They were adorable, too adorable that I wanted to keep them but animals are best surviving in their natural habitat.
The entrance was infront of me, but before i could even reach out for the door, a woman was looking at me with the door half open sulking with a knife in her hand.
Her long pale white hairs untied, she was wearing a traditional full sleeved dress like a princess, her dark red eyes were looking at me, yes only me. More precisely she was my woman.
"You're late, the food is getting cold."
'I love you so damn much.' I thought while staring into her eyes.
-Bastard stop thinking that so damn loudly
-Then stop being so beautiful.
I got a bone chilling glare while entering the house.
Our souls are merged, or more like intertwined. Whatever she feels I do, both physically and mentally, and same for everything else. Our minds and thoughts are connected enabling us to share thoughts like voice transmissions.
-Hey, its hurting right now, isn't it?
-not much, I'm good
-I swear, I should've chosen from the crowd instead of you.
She looked at me and sighed, reaching out for my face, pressing her lips on mine.
-!!!?
-Don't you dare move
-I feel better now
-Yeah no, you're not allowed to go until I've had my fill now
-Strawberry and chocochip!?
"I love you" as she said this I felt my heart easing a little bit.
While on the outside, I'm having a time of my life. I have to take every step carefully in my life as I'm, The biggest criminal in mortal world on the run after assassinating an entire pantheon. My wife, She's my everything, my companion and partner in everything one can possibly think of.
This is a world where one's wildest imagination comes true, and there are countless stories which are reaching their plot twists at their own pace.

I grabbed my cloak and walked out of the burning lab, a black robe with white patterns on it along with a Golden Badge which has a four pointed star.
