Qingchuan was one of the five largest cities in the Southern Border.
It was leagues more prosperous than Yuan Guang County Town in every respect.
The city bordered the Central Plains and was near the Xi Sea to the east. As a result, while the indigenous people of the Southern Border still formed the majority of its residents, settlers from the Central Plains and other regions made up nearly half the population.
Following the Southern Prince's rebellion, life in Qingchuan City appeared to carry on as usual on the surface. In reality, however, undercurrents surged, and conflicts within the Jianghu had multiplied several times over.
