Over the past few days, Yue Ya had been extremely cautious, carrying the Blood Spirit Pill while constantly hiding and struggling to survive.
She could no longer stay in her previous cellar, as it had already been discovered by the Medicine Men. Fortunately, Yue Ya had sensed something amiss beforehand and managed to escape in time.
These Medicine Men were, naturally, the test subjects for the Tribulation Cultivators of the Ninefold Celestial Court. After becoming Medicine Men, some of them turned into zombie-like creatures, wandering aimlessly. However, others underwent physical mutations. On the surface, they still looked like normal humans, but in reality, their temperaments had drastically changed, rendering them exceptionally brutal.
Eventually, Yue Ya found herself cornered in an alley by two Medicine Men.
