The next day, Monday morning, Yan Feifan walked out of his bedroom to find his sister pointing her phone at him, recording.
"Dearest brother, it's a new day! Hurry up and say hi to all our friends, new and old!"
Yan Feifan gave a haphazard wave. "Good morning, everyone," he said, before dashing into the bathroom.
After relieving himself, washing up, and drinking a glass of warm milk, Yan Feifan headed up to the attic, all under the watchful lens of his sister's phone.
The attic bathroom renovation was finished. It just needed another day or two for the materials to cure and the space to air out before it could be used.
However, Yan Feifan had been informed the previous night that, given his current physical and mental state, he needed to focus on rest and recovery for the time being.
The plan to move in together was on hold.
