Friday morning, at Anzhou City People's Hospital.
Dr. Xu Yingjun, director of Burn and Trauma Surgery and nearly sixty years old, arrived at his office to find Lee Lei, the twins' father, waiting by the door.
Mr. Xu opened the door and ushered in the father, who looked more than a decade older than his actual age.
"Mr. Xu, someone from the Binhai Extraordinary Fund came last night. They said Binhai University Affiliated Hospital can accept Yuanyuan for surgery."
