Chen Suifeng always wore a smile, but today he looked rather serious.
"Mr. Fen, do they suspect you?" Su Ze asked tentatively.
"They definitely suspect me, but there's nothing to be done about it. This is a price that has to be paid."
Chen Suifeng had anticipated this when he agreed to help Su Ze. But if he hadn't kept the Mu Country's Saint-Emissary and the other overlords occupied, Su Ze would never have been able to kill the King of Mu so easily.
He couldn't just watch Su Ze go to his death, nor could he stand by as his path of evolution was cut short.
After all, in his eyes, Su Ze was "hope."
"Is your skill complete now?" Chen Suifeng asked.
"Yes." Su Ze nodded repeatedly. "The remaining Bloodline Crystal was with the King of Mu, just as we thought. And he really was possessed by one of the Nian Race—the aliens..."
