When Mr. Ya came alone last time, his skill had warned him of danger. This time, coming with Su Ze, there was no danger. This indicated that the powerhouse in the stronghold was stronger than Mr. Ya, but weaker than Su Ze.
In other words, a Venerable Powerhouse was likely stationed inside the stronghold.
Under normal circumstances, a single Venerable Powerhouse wouldn't be a threat to Mr. Ya. Therefore, there was likely more than one Venerable Powerhouse in the Desolate Mountain stronghold, or they possessed some special means that specifically countered Mr. Ya.
