Inside the room, Xiaobai sat on a stool, restlessly kicking her little legs. "Master," she asked nervously, "you didn't mess it up, did you?"
"Don't be hasty. I'm almost done. You have to trust your master's skills."
Qin Yang replied calmly.
He held a pair of scissors, deftly trimming the hair around Xiaobai's temples.

With each crisp snip, soft white fur fell like rain, but before it could hit the ground, it vanished in a flash, disappearing into thin air.
The early morning sun slanted in through the window.
A moment later, Qin Yang put down the scissors and gently patted Xiaobai's back.
