On the Central Continent's west coast, the lingering power of the Spirit Veins flowed into the sea and then flourished, forming patch after patch of Spirit Land. Due to the threat of Demon Beasts and a Spiritual Mechanism inferior to that of the mainland, these lands were like chicken ribs: tasteless to eat, yet a pity to discard.
