Gwendolyn was taken aback.
"Young man, confidence is a good thing, but it's pointless to tell lies just to save face. When you look back on it in your old age, you might even feel ashamed."
"You don't seem like the type to spout nonsense. Are you new to this training? Perhaps you're mistaken about something?" Gwendolyn said.
Fang Zhen shook his head slightly.
"Master, thank you for giving me an out, but I really have completed the basic training."
"What's the next step? How can I release the Gang Zan Seal?"
Gwendolyn's brow furrowed, his expression still full of disbelief.
"You say you've completed the basic training?" Gwendolyn walked over and held out his right hand. "Then hold out your right hand, palm to my palm."
Fang Zhen wasn't sure what Gwendolyn was planning, but he figured it was probably a test. He raised his right hand and placed it against Gwendolyn's palm.
