In North City, the provincial capital, there was a well-renowned machinery factory. It was located in the western part of the ancient city, sprawling over several thousand acres. Not only was the factory itself massive, but the surrounding area was also fully equipped with residential amenities.
It had its own supply and marketing co-ops, grain stores, and grocers, all dedicated to serving the factory employees and their families. To support all this, the factory's transportation team had been steadily growing over the past few years.
Naturally, a job on the transportation team was considered a cushy gig. It wasn't just the children of current employees competing for a spot; even outsiders considered it an honor to join the team.
