The twins' vastly different reactions didn't just make Xu Changqing burst out laughing; they also made Xu Qiguang and Bai Xiulan exchange a look, shaking their heads with a helpless smile.
So clever. The two children were truly sharp. At such a young age, they already knew who genuinely doted on them, and they didn't forget to put on a good show for their older sister, trying to win her favor.
Xu Changqing ate two of the vegetarian meatballs made with tofu and cellophane noodles and gave her mother a thumbs-up. Then, she filled two large bowls to the brim with fried meatballs and headed out the door.
