After the apocalypse broke out, some people in Changning Village turned into zombies, while others remained normal. There were also quite a few mutated animals and plants. After all, their village was nestled against farmland and mountains. These areas teemed with dangerous species; even a single one wandering down was enough to give the villagers a massive headache.
Fortunately, although many people in the village hadn't awakened a superpower and remained ordinary humans, a portion of them had. They could finally use their newfound abilities to protect their families. Whether it was mutated animals, plants, zombies, or passing Superpower Users, none could easily take advantage of them.
