"Miss, what are you looking to buy?" the salesclerk asked, stepping forward to block Qin Mei's path.
Her view obstructed, Qin Mei, who had been crouching, immediately straightened up, her almond-shaped eyes narrowing slightly. "I'm not buying anything."
"Miss, if you're not buying anything, please leave. Otherwise, I'll call security," the salesclerk threatened. She treated Qin Mei like a criminal, her gaze filled with undisguised contempt.
It finally dawned on Qin Mei what was happening, and she looked over at Jie Jingchen.
Jie Jingchen stepped forward to smooth things over. "We're buying."
