The Snowy Owl eagerly devoured the grilled fish in a few bites, then rubbed its head against Xue Zhu.
"Haha, alright, I know you're still hungry. I'll go get you something to eat right now!" Xue Zhu laughed, tickled by the nuzzling.
Si Shuo grabbed some of the roasted meat she usually used to feed Yin Jiang and handed it to her daughter.
Xue Zhu took it with a grin, tearing it into pieces to feed to the owl. "Brother Xue, you have to tell me if you're not feeling well. My Mother knows how to treat illnesses; she can heal your injuries.
Or are you just tired from flying today?"
The Snowy Owl acted as if it didn't hear her and just buried its head in the food. When Xue Zhu was slow to tear off more meat, it even let out an impatient chirp to hurry her along.
No one could figure the owl out, so they eventually left to do their own things.
