The gloom in Cecilia Adler's heart gradually faded, and a faint smile bloomed on her lips. "Mhm."
"Are you hungry?" Ian Quincy glanced at the IV drip. There was still half a bag left, which would take at least another half an hour. "Want some mini wontons?"
Cecilia Adler shook her head. "I don't really have an appetite."
Ian Quincy poured her some water.
Cecilia Adler rinsed her mouth and drank half a glass. Her throat felt much better. She glanced at the sky outside the window. The sun was high and bright; it had to be around noon. 'I slept for so long.' A moment later, her gaze returned to Ian Quincy. "Ian, I want to tell you something."
"Go on." Ian Quincy listened intently.
